Sparkle for Twilight: Blog Update! I love Anna Kendrick's blossoming style! I've been keeping my eye on her wardrobe and I'm totally loving it. When
Twilight first came out and she was just making a name for herself, she did it a little safer in black, but still with details and feminine silhouettes. And as is appropriate, her style is exponentially increasing in sophistication and glamour right along with her career!

I can relate to Anna's ultra-girly style and I actually find myself wanting the looks that she's been gorgeously strutting at recent events and rarely do I ever see something on a celebrity and think,
I WANT IT. Appreciate it cause it looks fabulous on them, yes, but actually wanting to try and pull it off myself, not typically.

So let's take a closer look at these trifectas of perfection (get ready for a lot of "loves"):
Ruffles, gilt
and glitter. That's all.

Ruffles, floral, and sparkle. Check, check, and check. Oh, such pretty touches. Bonus because I love the stark white. It's so crispy and fresh that it reminds me of sunshine and brunch outdoors in the summertime.
Pale ballerina pink, crystal beading, and glitter pumps to match? Check x 3. This is so very close to my favorite look that I seriously contemplated how I could get my hands on this $800 Notte by Marchesa dress. The
$745 Louboutins, that's going to have to be a paycheck by paycheck kinda thing...
My favorite, favorite look. Not just for Anna, but for anyone I've seen recently that I can remember! Sweetheart neckline, lace embroidery, a lilac sash. Diamond. Flower. Ring. And I looo-ove that delicate Victorian-esque color pallete:
Be surprised to find out this J.Mendel dress was first worn by Amanda Seyfried in the
Vanity Fair shoot she did with Kristen in 2008. See how fresh the white and those neutrals look? Love! Aw, and Kristen looks like a ballerina too.

And while I'm on the topic of white, can I add that I have a thing for creamy coats?
Ever since that Anne Hathaway stepped out looking all radiant and chic in her's in
The Devil Wears Prada. You know what I'm talking about.
How do people live in places where it never gets cold? The reason I love the fall/winter season (well, in addition to pumpkin spice flavored everything) is because I love coats and boots!
And with that thought, I conclude my fashion roll-out. If this topic made you bummed out about not being able to afford such fancies, don't worry, I'm there with you. Even Anna had some humble beginnings, and to that I say,
blame the times. People talk about how the 80s were a fashion travesty, but I look back on some of the things I wore only few years ago and I cringe. If it's any consolation, whoever it is standing next to her probably isn't cherishing the wardrobe memory either.

You have a favorite Anna look? I hope you enjoyed the outfits, and if you're like me, your first thought was probably,
pretty!--right before you were dazzled like a child by all the glittering adornments.
