Associated Press get CUT OFF by Rob's PUBLICIST!!! just like seacrest
This video from Associated Press is great except when they ask if he's happy that Kristen is there supporting his movie, which personally i think is a nice question and didnt seem to be contribed in anyway. Robert does go to answer the question and his publicist or whatever she is cuts him right off (how rude). if he is happy to answer then let him answer. This is kind of like the Ryan Seacrest interview at the New Moon premiere.

She's not his publicist she works for Summit. She was also with Kristen & Taylor in Tennessee when they were promoting NM for the Children's Benefit. I think they put her there 'cause Rob always talks and cannot lie like Kristen said. That was a good answer of course but it's not like he didn't know she was going to be there she arrived with Tom Stu in the SUV. Obviously they're together only blind people(sorry no offence) or people hiding under a rock that are still in denial. Love both of them!

Both Pattinson and Stewart have made it abundantly clear that they do not appreciate personal questions. So I can't see them being polite to an interviewer if the interviewer is being rude asking the question in the first place.
Also, the question wasn't just about Pattinson, and perhaps Stewart's pubicist had made clear boundaries for what could be discussed about Stewart in Pattinson's interviews.
Finally, perhaps the publicist is a little twitchy and overreactive these days after Pattinson's vagina comment. We know that he just kind of gets goofy and rambles when he's nervous in an interview, but others don't, and the publicist was just protecting him from his own goofiness potential.

its really annoying how that publicist is always right there being shown in his interviews. I know that he wants someone there so he always says the right thing, but her job is not to be sitting right there next to him in the frame while he's answering a question. She can cut him off if she thinks its necessary but i'm tired of seeing her face in his interviews!

They didn´t cut him off! The interviewer had already been asking him many questions and it was obvously time to move on to the next. And btw he DID answer it anyway. No body got cut off, stop making it sound so dramatic

She probably butted in because they want to keep The Twilight Saga separate from other movies. They are there for Remember Me. Bringing up Kristen being there kind of pushes the conversations towards the Twilight movies and their relationship, whatever it may be. You know everyone has questions about that.
You can't exactly blame them for wanting to keep it all separate and focus on the reasons they are there, but she could have been a LOT less rude about it.

The publicist showed poor judgment. There was nothing wrong with the question. Jon Stewart was not asking a Robsten type question like Ryan Seacrest. Rob could have just politely answered that he appreciated that his colleague was supportive of his work, end of story. After all Robert and Kristen have worked together for 3 years. If Summit didn't want the question asked, they should have given specific request to the Daily show staff prior to filming. Instead of having this person causing a scene, they should have coached Rob before his appearance so that he would be able to answer the question in a comfortable manner. If they don't want to associate the his film with the Twilight Saga, why are they showing the Eclipse trailer before the film on March 12?

Sorry I don't know why I thought that this was the daily show. I didn't realize that it was on the red carpet and the associated press was asking this question. However, I stand by position that they should coach Rob with regard to these questions rather than creating an embarrassing situation for the star and for Summit.
