I think because the first one was built indoors in Vancouver and it would be more cost effective just to rebuild it in Baton Rouge than to dismantle and move the one from Van City to BR..

they knocked the one from Eclipse down, there rebuilding Bella's house aswell.

This makes me even more excited for Breaking Dawn; this movie is going to be so awesome. I just know that Rob and Kristen are going to really enjoy making this movie; they tell Bella and Edwards story like nobody else could!!

I'm sure it's a lot of camera work to make it look like a real house bit still rebuilding there houses. Is the Cullen house indoors? Because so many scenes are from the inside looking out when al the clans are in the house. Would that all becamera work making it look like real outdoors scenes? Even Bella's ...how about the holl street in stands in back in Vancouver?
