Comment by connie may on December 4, 2010 at 10:32am: BUMMER... we aren't having our DVD release party until January BECAUSE Summit decided to release it in December (too much going on with the holidays) instead of November (their NORMAL) release time... :(
We have had AWESOME release parties for Twilight and New Moon and Eclipse will be equal if not BETTER as more and more TwiTards join our group!

I actually feel that our party actually started in the line waiting for the DVD release...I came ready...with my Twilight and New Moon Trivia cards tucked in my purse...knowing all along that I would quiz my friend to pass the time while we waited.
At 10:00 p.m. I pulled out the New Moon deck and asked if anyone wanted to play.....WOW...75 people were ready in an instant to play and answer questions!!! It was soooooooooo much fun!!!! We made it through both of the games and everyone had a great time!!! I'm 50 year old with 2 beautiful grandchildren!!! The Twilight Saga has captured fans of all ages! I saw Eclipse 4 times in the theatre, and I watched it after I got home last night. I attended a Eclipse release DVD party at the home of a friend that became a Twifan last summer! Five Twifans were there! We chatted about the whole saga and how much we all loved that Eclipse was finally out on DVD!!! We loved how the movie shows histories, stayed true to the book and how THE CULLENS are ready to battle!! We really like the scene where they are ready and waiting for the battle!!!!!!!!!!! The movie is truly amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I almost forgot to mention...Monday night was our Twilight movie night, Tuesday night was New Moon building up to the release of Eclipse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring on Breaking Dawn!!!!!!

Comment by Claudia on December 4, 2010 at 7:29pm: At our local Hastings store they had a contest twihards needed to answer 10 questions right out of 30 from the movie Eclipse there would only be three winners the ones who answered 10 questions right or more so I was one of the winners I won a tote team Edward with the Eclipse dvd and some Eclipse candy from Edward and Jacob it was pretty exciting winning. I had already bought a copy of the Eclipse DVD before they announced that I was one of the winners, so I gave my winning Eclipse dvd copy to my friend she was so happy I told her aren't you glad I'm a TwiHard she said Hell yes it was exciting.
