BILD interview with Rob - "I'm single, but I'm in love as well"

Hotel de Rome. Roof-deck. Bodyguards. Assistants - and BILD. He's tall, shy, frank, relaxed, friendly, humble, laughs gladly and has a warm, accurate voice. He drinks cola.

He wears an outfit by "Hugo Boss": "It was in my wardrobe as a present - and my stuff was dirty."

BILD: Describe yourself!? "I don't know who I am. Everything was easy before I became famous. Now it's hard. Every time you talk about yourself your personality exhausts. I'm me."

He arrived here by Air Berlin out of the caribbean - not an executive jet. He travels with hand baggage: a backpack, a bag and a guitar. He smokes, is allergic to hashish and earned 27 millions in the last year. His life is a dream and a nightmare.

His success is his jail: "I'm scared of buying a house, because they would besiege it." He's on the run.

His new movie "Water for Elephants" is like a copy of his soul. Story: A young vet loses everything. He jumps on a circus' train and grows up. His love: Reese Witherspoon. His rival: Christoph Waltz!

Sort of "Gone with the Wind" on trails: "I felt like myself in this movie, because I was able to be myself. I didn't have to say much - but I had to react much."

BILD: How do you live? "I get up and go to bed. My most important friend is my alarm clock. I read books on my Kindle and my iPad 2."

BILD: Do you believe in destiny? "I guess I do - it makes life easier, you can do what you want."

BILD: What means luck for you? "Simple things. I'm easy to get lucky. A pizza and a sixpack beer last."

BILD: What's your most important holding? "I don't want to own anything. I always have my Gibson ax from 1963 with me. I love to lose my cell. Then you're so free!"

BILD: No vice? "Sometimes I'm addicted. I hoard and collect stuff - but I have no house. I bring everything to warehouses."

"Oscar"-star Christoph Waltz joins us.

BILD: What makes Rob unique? "Just look at him!" Director Francis Lawrence laughs: "He has a secret, something magnetic. Just a camera can catch it and there are people who are shining suddenly." Robert Pattinson laughs - at himself.

BILD: Are you single or in love? He laughs even more. His blue eyes stare into mine, his teeth dazzles. "Well, yes, I'm single, but I'm in love as well."

BILD: With? He laughs, I laugh, we laugh: "I'm sometimes feeling like a native in the boondocks. A question like this is a like a picture of your soul. I don't let my soul get stolen."

This is from a trash magazine, if Rob actually said it he was just messing around since he said yes to both, he's single (well he isn't married is he) and in love. A few people who have been interviewing him on the press tour have brought up "your girlfriend" and he has not denied it. One woman asked him at the Berlin premiere "where is your girlfriend tonight?" and he said "She's back in LA." This is on video, not print like the article above. Another interview on video from Berlin a reporter was asking him about the difficulties of keeping his relationship with his girlfriend a secret when people are watching him 24/7. Again he didn't deny that she was his girlfriend and talked about how he doesn't want to sell his private life and how paps are always trying to make money off of them.
