We have a little Breaking Dawn director update for you this afternoon! Over the past few months we’ve heard rumors of several directors being approached to helm the final installment(s) of The Twilight Saga film franchise including Stephen Daldry, Gus Van Sant, Sofia Coppola and more. Shooting will begin in the fall, and I heard the plan is to shoot two films back to back.

Like I said, Deadline tends to be right with these things so while I’m not 100% convinced, I believe it more than I would from other sources. Bill Condon certainly has an impressive resume, so I think he could definitely do the film(s) justice. What do you think of these reports? Would you be pleased with Bill as the director?
