Blood and Chocolate's Werewolf Tranformation

2007’s Blood & Chocolate is about a young teenage werewolf who is torn between honoring her family’s secret and her love for a man.

You can fast forward to ~2:50 to see the people transform into werewolves. The music is Breathe by Breaking Benjamin.

Okay, so some of you may think the transforming into wolves part is a bit too fantasy, but I remember when I saw Twilight for the first time (before reading the books) and laughed a little when Bella told Edward that he was beautiful after he revealed himself and was sparkling. Anyway, I like the transformations, especially when the werewolves transform under the full moon and even more when you see Vivian’s face up close. When I read Malicious Mandy’s blog about set stalking and seeing real wolves I thought that’s what we would see in New Moon until I saw its trailer and the animated wolves, but I guess that makes more sense. The timber wolves must have been for a flashback scene. I really hope though that in New Moon they show Paul and Jacob’s fight in front of Bella.

I would give the movie about a B grade. It has a newish twist on a werewolf story (and WAY better than movies like American Werewolf in Paris which I thought was crap). The lead actress Agnes Bruckner is great, I felt the love story, but the end was a little too much sci-fi action for me. You can see the whole movie, but in parts on YouTube. Also, if you like Agnes, you should check out Dream with her, John Corbett, and Justin Long. I’m a movie buff and it is definitely up there.

It seems that in most cases the book is better than the movie..it's a shame.

I read the book and going by the trailer it doesn't seem like anything was taken from it other the names which Meagan commented on. At least with Twlight they had a lot of the stuff from the book.

I've never read the book, but the movie makes me want to. I think books are always better than the movie too.
