In an interview with TheTrades , BooBoo stewart ( Seth Clearwater) talked about working alongside the Twilight stars ( Rob , Kris & Taylor ) , Breaking Dawn part 2 & Filming Wolf Telepathy scene and more....
Have you read the books?
Yes, I have. When I thought I might have had an audition for it. I started reading the books, so I went in for the audition I’d be prepared.
Do you have a favorite?
My favorite would probably be Eclipse. Twilight establishes everything. New Moon is a lot of romance. Eclipse is more action. So I liked Eclipse.
Why did Breaking Dawn require two movies?
The book is over 700 pages long. There’s so much information that would have to be cut out that it would be really disappointing for the fans.
Is "Breaking Dawn, Part 2" finished?
I don’t know about production-wise, but they are done filming-wise. We’re just waiting for it to come out.
Are we going to see the Cullens and wolf pack interact more in this one?
I can’t really say too much about it, but I can say you’re going to meet a lot of new characters.
Who was your favorite person to work with on the production?
On the "Breaking Dawn" set, I really enjoyed working with Bill Condon. He was really nice. He really took his time with each actor. It didn’t matter if there were time restraints.
Twilight can be seen as kind of a girly franchise. Do your buddies give you trouble about it or just think it’s awesome?
They think it’s really cool that I’m in it, because it’s really is a cool thing to be a part of. It’s more of a girls movie, but in "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn" there are definitely scenes for the guys.
I heard you wrote your own comic book.
I made this character up a long time ago. It’s called Millennium Man. It was just a hobby and just for fun. Let’s see what happens with it, it’s almost all done. We’ll see if it gets released or not.
So, if you could be any comic book superhero, who would you be?
That’s a good one. My favorite is Nightcrawler, but I wouldn’t want to be him. He has a pretty hard life. I’d want to be one that looked normal, but had a really cool power. I’d want to be Superman.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever seen a Twilight fan do?
A girl got my name tattooed on her wrist.
Your character’s name or your actual name?
My actual name.
The werewolves are running around without shirts all the time. How do you guys stay warm when you’re filming? It’s not shot in a warm climate.
It’s freezing cold. Most of the time I have sleeveless shirts on. For the sleeveless shirts, they have an extra layer underneath that’s cut smaller so you can't see it. And we have hand-warmers! But they make it so it’s sticky ones so you can stick it all over your body. That keeps up really warm. Besides that, we are putting pants on between takes, and jackets, scarves. But when you have your shirt off – well, there’s nothing you can do about it.
Did you do your own stunt work in the films?
Because when we fight, we turn into wolves, we didn’t get to do anything really. We did have to do voice-overs for the wolves – funny growls. It was kind of embarrassing.
"Breaking Dawn, Part 1" you did the wolf voices or internal monologues. How was that?
It was really cool. I was wondering how they were going to do this – for people who weren’t fans of the books it might be really confusing. I think they did it really well – they didn’t make it sound exactly how we do.
We did one version like a regular voice. Another version, we talked as low as we could. In another, we had to use growling voices. And then, they just mixed it all together and made it sound really cool.
What was it like to work with Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson?
They’re great, really cool. Robert is a really nice person. Actually, it’s a funny story. When I first got the part, everyone is like what’s Robert like? I never met him. We were together in a scene, but I was a wolf so I was never actually there. This whole time we filmed the movie, and doing press – I never met him. Then, finally at the Kid’s Choice Awards, I got to shake his hand for a second and finally met him. On "Breaking Dawn" we got to hang out a lot.
So, who are your closest friends on set?
The person I keep in touch with the most is Chaske Spencer. He plays Sam, the leader of the wolf pack – the guy with the really deep voice. He’s cool.
