'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' had another impressive run at the box office on Thursday. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the third film in the uber-popular franchise took in an estimated $24.2 million on over 4,400-plus screens, bringing its two-day total to $92.8 million.
The good news comes on the heels of an already stellar week for 'Twilight,' which had record-breaking performances at midnight screenings on Tuesday and during the day on Wednesday.
'Eclipse' is expected to surpass $150 million by the end of the holiday weekend, according to reports.
Meanwhile, M. Night Shyamalan's 'The Last Airbender' also debuted strong, earning $16.4 million.
