I'm attending the Dallas event .

I have no idea where else to post this, but I am bubbling with so much excitement I have to tell the world.... I am going.

This is the first time I am able to attend any of the Twilight Saga Events. I will be meeting a fellow Twi-hard from another site to enjoy the festivities. This is going to be so much fun. Is anyone else here attending this event or one like it?

here's a link to some info on the same tour's stop in Atlanta GA.

Thanks to a wonderful Twi-hard from one of the many fan-sites that I frequent I got to attend this free event put on by Summit. I did not have to stand in line for eons hoping for a ticket. My Twilight Angel had an extra ticket and wanted some company. I was nearly as thrilled to be meeting a local fan as I was at the possibility of meeting the Twilight stars. Major bonus- I made a new friend. It was awesome.

They gave away mini-posters and collector cards along with free food and drinks. The stars walked the red carpet signing autographs for screaming fan and talking to the press. The crowd was so thick that just to stand in a hopeful place for a star-meet meant that I was pressed against a guard rail and touching several strangers on all sides LOL. But the peeps were full of good humor as we all waited for our chance to say hello to some of our favorite Twilight personalities.

At one point, I actually met Jackson Rathbone. He came off the red carpet and actually climbed up some piping running along the high guard rail where me and several enthusiastic fans waited. Cameras flashed frantically, girls swooned, and I was able to ask for an autograph and give a quick “Hi” to “Jasper Hale”. He signed my Twilight Apple and patted my hand. I said, thank you, and he winked as he said your welcome. It was too cute. He was clearly eating up the fan attention. Later during the Q and A session he would say “Texas” over and over again just to hear the crowd cheer. It was so funny.

My one disappointment was that Peter Facinelli was a no show. He apparently was filming for a show and was no longer available.
