Breaking Dawn - Part 1 footage and cast at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con

According to an article at HDR, Twilight will be making an appearance with footage and cast members at the 2011 Comic-con.

This year's Comic-Con in particular is poised to be perhaps the biggest yet. In a battle of screaming female tweens versus comic book faithful, Summit Entertainment will present new footage and the stars of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 while Marvel and Paramount will counter with likely the first public footage from The Avengers.

We had an idea that this might be happening. The timing of the release of Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is in November, just like Twilight and New Moon. Both of those movies had special Comic-con panels. Eclipse wasn't at Comic-Con because of it's release in June. No need to show special Eclipse footage in July, that would have been a waste of time and money for Summit.

With Breaking Dawn - Part 2 having a release date of November 16th 2012, make sure to get your 2012 Comic-Con tickets during the 2011 con. At the 2010 con, convention goers got to pre-purchase for 2011, which included pre-view night. If something happens and they don't show up for the 2012 con, you can always get a refund. Better to be safe than sorry.

But...correct me I'm wrong, won't the trailer have already premiered at the MTV movie awards (if they do end up airing it there)? So that means...MORE footage! If that's the case...GREAT!! :D

I'm totally getting my 2012 pass at the con this summer to avoid the reg hassle we had this year! I also have a feeling that the BD panel will be epic too! I think we'll get a lot of the cast not just the trinity like for NM panel & possibly SM & of course Bill Condon!!! Ahhhh!!! So excited!!!!!!!!!!
