11-16-2012 is a Friday not a Wednesday. One year is a long time to wait, but I am happy to know the release date all the same. :)

The only thing I can think of for the year separation, is because they don't want the first part of Breaking Dawn to still be in theaters during the time of the 2nd part's release!! Cause then some people may wait to go see both movies within days of each other. Which would be fine by me, but this way, the two movies can't compete against each other in the award shows!! That's just my opinion!!

we hav more than a year for part 1 which doesnt come out until 11/11/11 then we hav to wait a whole nother year for the second part plus i dont want it to be over i will be cryin when the last movie comes out stephenie needs to write more books so that we can have more movies...either way cant wait until they come out guess we r just goin to have to watch eclipse untill it comes out plus does anyone know when that is suppose to come out on dvd

Let me just echo "OMFG"!!! Forget worrying about whether or not I'll be alive to see it but Summit does realize that it's working with young actors who are aging everyday right???
That said, I'm just glad we now have some firm dates.

And they could pull a Peter Jackson-just film the whole thing at once and release it in it's two parts...
