Breaking Dawn--Anticipation (Part 4) Edward/Bella Kisses

Because Edward & Bella's first kiss in Twilight was just named one of InStyle/CNN's most iconic movie kisses. I thought we could discuss which smooching scenes we are most excited to see in Breaking Dawn. Below are the top 5 Edward/Bella kisses that I am anticipating:

1. Wedding kiss #1

Their first kiss as man and wife. Bella surprises even herself with how deeply happy she is to be Edward's bride.

"He began the kiss, and he had to end it; I clung to him, ignoring the titters and the throat-clearing in the audience."

2. Wedding kiss #2

While dancing, yes dancing at the wedding (insert fangirl squeal here) Edward & Bella are interrupted by Alice who wants Bella to change into her "going away" outfit.

"Edward ignored her; his lips were hard against mine, more urgent than before....Edward turned his face slightly to murmur, 'Go away, Alice,' and then pressed his lips to mine again."

3. Honeymoon kiss

No words are need to describe Bella's dream. Their kisses tell the story.

"I clutched my arms around his neck again and locked my mouth with his feverishly. It wasn't desire at all-it was need, acute to the point of pain....I couldn't tell if he was moved by the tears trembling in my voice, or if he was unprepared to deal with the suddenness of my attack, or if his need was simply as unbearable in that moment as my own. But whatever the reason, he pulled my lips back to his, surrendering with a groan."

4. Vampire Bella's first kiss

Vampire Bella can't seem to control herself around Edward anymore than human Bella could. LOL

"It was like he'd never kissed me-like this was our first kiss. And in truth, he'd never kissed me this way before....I'd forgotten we weren't alone. And then I realized that the way I was curved around Edward now was not exactly polite for company."

5. Kissus Interruptus

I am so excited for the scene when Edward finally gets to read Bella's mind. And after so many occurences when Bella seems unable to control her desire, it's amusing to see Edward lose his steely self-control.

"I pressed my hands to his face again, hefted the shield right out of my mind, and then started in where I'd left off....I laughed breathlessly when his urgent kiss interrupted my efforts again. 'Damn it,' he growled, kissing hungrily down the edge of my jaw."

There's a good chance we may see at least one in Breaking Dawn =)

I remembered parts of this—twisting my fingers in his hair, tracing the planes of his chest—but other parts were so new. He was new. It was an entirely different experience with Edward kissing me so fearlessly, so forcefully. I responded to his intensity, and then suddenly we were falling.

“Oops,” I said, and he laughed underneath me. “I didn’t mean to tackle you like that. Are you okay?”
He stroked my face. “Slightly better than okay.”>>
