She denies Summit Entertainment “fired” her: “In my contract, I had the first right of refusal.”In a new Newsweek profile, Catherine Hardwicke (whose vamped up version of Little Red Riding Hood hit screens March 11) says she has no regrets about walking away from the mega-successful Twilight franchise and dismisses a blog report that Summit Entertainment fired her.
Comment by robpattinzon on March 4, 2011 at 10:29am OMFG! K if Catherine did do the rest of the movies im pretty sure they would have been so much better.
If you watch all three movies or w.e you will prolly see that Twilight is one of the best out of all of them. In my opinion is because she's a female director , directing a females authors book. She gets it. Guys dont really get it. Idk i wish she would have directed new moon and eclipse and breaking dawn. she did a fantastic job on twilight. even though the special effects werent that amazing , she would have got more money and did even a better job. just saying :)
