Chain Bio

Okay so I'm going to write a little bio about myself and I think as many people as possible should comment with a bio of themself or post a blog post of their own about it ... here goes ...

My real name is Sarah and I'm 21 from Toronto, Canada. I am a Radio and Television Arts (Broadcasting) major in University with a minor in Literature. I write for magazines and newspapers whenever I can and am currently filming a documentary on online niche dating that is in talks to be picked up as a series for television. I have my second dan black belt in taekwondo, trained a demo team that travelled across the United States and Canada performing, and competed in sparring (fighting). I also have 12 years of dance experience in tap and ballet and several years in jazz and hiphop. I also ride dirtbikes. I have a boyfriend of 3 years who is in the Israeli army and is currently fighting in Gaza. We are both very interested in war and military history and are very passionate about Israel's cause. I also basically a convert to Judaism after alot of studying. I come from a car obsessed family and therefore work for a car company as well as a waitress in a newfie diner. I am obsessed with pink, shoes, chicken fingers, olives and Twilight, obviously. I have a pet dog, fish and frog. I read and write a lot, hopefully one day you guys will be obsessed with a book I write. My favourite place in the world is my cottage which is secluded and alone on a lake in Muskoka (up North in Canada). It is completely serene and beautiful and I'm at my most creative when I am there. My biggest passion is travelling, I work to save up and then travel and I have been to Germany, Costa Rica, England, Turkey, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Monaco, France, Israel and of course the States. My friends say I'm completely unpredictable and never fail to surprise them, and that I am a little weird. They would probably describe me as cute, kind and passionate. I keep a large circle of friends but don't have too many people I'm very close to, I guess I'm everyone's friend. My biggest flaw is that I gossip way too much and sometimes talk behind people's backs which I am VERY ashamed of. I love the Twilight Saga because it is an escape from reality, but find myself depressed after I read it because I don't think Edward Cullen types really exist. I believe that love is focusing on and loving the attributes of another, and having those positive attributes outweigh the flaws. The problem with Twilight is that we don't see any of Edwards flaws through Bella, and therefore he seems perfect, which doesn't really exist. I enjoyed the movie mainly for Rob and the fact that it stayed fairly true to the book (I realize they had to leave a lot out but they made it work the best they could), but disliked the directing, effects and thought the acting (although the characters were pretty much how I pictured, except Bella who wasn't shy enough and too tomboy) was pretty awful. Still, I've seen it 4 times and read the books 3 times because I'm completely obsessed. My favourite book in the series has to be the partial draft of Midnight Sun.

I might add more later if I think of something important ... that's all I've got for now ... a lot to take in!

Comment by Nev on January 4, 2009 at 12:11am: I only feel good when I feel like I've accomplished something great and made my parents proud ... which in turn makes me proud. So I try really hard usually. But I keep my accomplishments close and never forget them because if I ever fail, I could remember them to keep me going ... kind of silly ... but it's worked this for ... I haven't fallen off track ... but Brianna ... since you'll probably be up all night, you need to write a bio too!

I played volleyball in college for 2 years, I interned at a music marketing company once. I worked at Hot Topic HQ (which was my favorite job besides working at Disneyland) I played pool competitively for 5 years. I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years and I started reading Twilight when I moved out here to Washington 6 months ago. I, like everyone else had who they felt would make a good Edward Cullen, but seeing Robert Pattinson take on that role was fabulous. I enjoyed watching him play the guy who almost all of use girls hope to find. I totally enjoyed reading Midnight Sun even though I felt bad reading it because it was leaked out at first but reading 'Twilight' in Edward's perspective is so much more intense and you can finally feel like he does reading people's minds by finally seeing everything through his eyes. I love the saga so much I started my own blog dedicated to it lol it's called the Twilight Files http://thetwilightfiles.wordpress.com it's nothing like the larger websites out there that we all know and love, but it's my favorite thing to work on besides making graphics with photoshop I guess that's all I have so far LOL.....great discussion topic Nev..

I’m 21 and I live in Phoenix, Arizona, in the perpetual and never-ending summer. I’m a native of Denver, Colorado, and I miss the four seasons of my home state dearly. I’m not cut out for the hot and monochromatic desert. I’m married to my wonderful husband, with whom I just celebrated my one year anniversary. I’m in the middle of nursing school, and while I’m excited that I’m going to school for my “calling”, I’m eager to be finished and to move on. Nursing school literally consumes all when you’re in the midst of it. I love reading, photography, and traveling (although I don’t get to do as much as I’d like). My love for seeing new places will be further explored when I’m done with school, as I plan to do travel nursing as my husband continue to set up branches of his business in other states. I also love love love music. Not making it myself, as I’m quite tone-deaf and not musically gifted, but finding it and taking it in. Music has also been the one tried and true reminder of who I am when I’ve struggled to find myself. Hmm, not sure if that will make sense to anyone but me, but oh well. I’m on my second time through the Twilight series, and am completely swept away as I was the first time.
