Take it easy, Twi-Hards!

The closest Taylor Lautner is ever going to get to a rehab is hearing Amy Winehouse sing about it on the radio while cruising about town with Taylor Swift.

We're actually talking about another member of Tay Tay's pack. Chaske Spencer, who plays the wolf pack leader Sam Uley in New Moon, went to rehab before he started production on the movie to kick a nasty drug addiction.

For five weeks, Chaske was allegedly treated at the Northwest Indian Treatment Center. A fellow patient named Ray Martin told the National Enquirer:

"Chaske confided to me that he was up for a role in a 'really big movie' and didn’t want to screw it up. He said, 'If anyone finds out I’m here, it would be the worst thing in the world. It could ruin my career! Chaske is part Lakota Sioux and part Nez Perce, so he really identifies with the Native American culture. He wanted to get sober in a place with other Native Americans. From the way Chaske spoke in the group, I figured his drug of choice was either cocaine or methamphetamine. He talked about how he’d get all 'jittery' after using. He said that he'd get 'tweaked out' and stay locked in his room."

The addictions usually come after you've had some time to get famous, not before!

But at least he's all clean now. We hope.

Good for you Chaske!

Yes good for you chaske !!!

WHOA. and I thought the cast smoking was bad enough(but that isn't the WORST that could go on). but OMG!!!! HELLO. TOTALLY IN A STATE OF SHOCK . I hope he's okay and God bless him. And speaking of all this..Kristen Stewart said she's gonna totally quit smoking:) a good sign. She says it's not in her bones. I SWEAR her ex-bf Michael got her into that crap. no JOKE. Good for her! and good for Chaske!!

the national enquirer arent that bad , given that they did break the story of john edwards ( presidential nominee) having an affair with a women and having a baby with her , while his wife was battling cancer .

Why is it that when someone achieves some measure of success the first thing that everybody has to do is dig up some dirt on them. The source of this story is a cheesy tabloid and the information doesn't come directly from the actor but from a supposedly fellow patient who didn't know what type of drug addiction he was supposed to getting rid of. He did a great job in the movie. During the premier and during other interviews he speaks with clarity and didn't do anything that should merit him being removed from his role. If this story is true, I hope that he has the strength to remain clean and sober for his own and his family's sake not because of public scrutiny.

The best thing about the National Enquirer is that it makes great bird cage liner! Also if this came from that adds more crap on a large pile of s*&^!

Submitted this to Gossip Cop - hopefully they will investigate and report.
