Come Celebrate '30 Days of Twilight' with Twifans!!!

Calling all Twifans!

Here at we wanted to do something special to commemorate this month. November, for the last several years has been known as "Twivember." It's kind of sad to think there are no more Premieres where we can all meet & have fun together as Twihards. Although, there is the Twilight Forever party happening November 3 - 4 in NYC.

The past 5 years have been an incredible experience! Twilight brought us all together and will forever have a special place in our hearts. We have made great friends and have such wonderful memories.

This November we want to do a '30 Days of Twilight' so we can all share & re-live our favorite Twilight memories. We hope you will participate by leaving your answers in the comments or doing your own blog & tagging it '30Days'

Twifans is so grateful for all of our members and your support! We have had so much fun meeting you at the different events, whether it was a Premiere, Comic Con, Conventions, DVD party or wherever! Twifans are the BEST!

Today (Day 1) we are going to start with our favorite Twilight book, since the books are what started it all!

My favorite Twilight book is "Twilight"! It sucked me in & literally was like a drug to me lol. I couldn't stop reading. I immediately had to go online and find others who loved it as much as I did. Thankfully I didn't start reading 'til 3 of the books were already out and it was the week that Breaking Dawn was being released so I didn't have to wait to find out what happened! Several times while reading I called friends to ask questions, "Does Edward come back?!!", "Does Bella end up with Jacob? If she does I'm not reading any more!" etc. I just had to know!

Honestly, these books changed my life.

Now either write your own blog telling us your favorite Twilight book or leave your answer in the comments on this post! Tag your post 30Days.

I would have to say that my favorite Book would have to be Breaking Dawn, because, Edward and Bella finally get their Happily Ever After. And so much happened in Breaking Dawn that really surprised me. And I loved learning about being a Vampire through Bella as she learned how to be one. :)

I loved each one as they led to the finality of Bella & Edward being together! Twilight, too "sucked" me in, but I loved them all as I read them, (except for New Moon as I had to put it down and really cry before I could go back and finish it!). The story has lent much richness to my life and brought in hope and happiness for those two (and others here in the "real" world) who feel unloved and unlovable! <3

I didn't start reading any of the series until Dec 2011...after I saw Breaking Dawn!!! My favorite book from the series is Twilight. I just loved the beginning and watching their love grow! I could read that one over and over again!!!

I had never heard of, Twilight, until after, the first 3 movies, were here and gone. I think my sister, or one of my Gran Daughters said something about it. I have always loved, vampires, so bought all 4 of the books at the same time. I loved all of them, but really loved, Twilight. There was a special on cable, of the first three movies, so I recorded them, and that's when I bought the books. Of course I had to have all the movies to go with my books, so got the first 3, watched, read, and waited, for, Breaking Dawn 1, to come out. Now I have so many books, about Twilight, its unreal. Of course, I would love for, Stephanie, to finish, Midnight Sun, and get it published. All I know is, it's been, one hell of a ride, and I would not have missed it, for anything. I believe all of us, feel the same way.

For all of you young girls, and young women, even old, Grand Mothers, love, the same things, as any of you. As I always say, age is in the mind, not in the body, and I still feel no older than 16 yrs., so think about that, as you grow up. Make it fun.

My BFF gave me "Twilight" to read before I knew anything about Rob Pattinson, or saw the movie!  I was hooked right away.....the movies only made it better.  I wasn't a huge fan of "New Moon".....too much Jacob, not enough Edward!  But, I have to say, "Twilight" was my favorite, although I have re-read "Breaking Dawn" more times.  I love the characters, and later, the actors who played them, especially Rob!  Like Rita, I hope that Stephenie will someday finish "Midnight Sun."

'Twilight' literally changed my life but for the characters, I like 'Breaking Dawn' best. So I have 2 faves: 'Twilight' for its effects on my real world and 'Breaking Dawn' for its effects on the characters we've come to love like family. My answer is the same for the movies - so many special and important moments in all 5 make choosing just 1 fave impossible! But my 2 picks would have to be #'s 1 & 5 for the reasons explained for the books.

My favorite book of the series is eclipse. I love the proposal scene and it's my go to book when I am unhappy with anything else I read. I got into the series very late. It was October before New Moon came out in theaters when I read the saga. At that point in time, I was in college and I was at the end of a current semester and going into a new one. My sister was a major fan and she wouldn't shut up. I'd seen twilight and didn't care for it; then saw the New Moon trailer and though, huh. That can't be that bad. Since I'd taken care of my finals, I was looking for something to read for fun and started the saga. It was slow going until I hit the meadow scene in twilight. After that, you couldn't stop me from reading it. When a friend loaned me New Moon, I finished it in the same day. A couple days later, she gave me eclipse. After a few hours, brought me breaking dawn because I was halfway through eclipse. I literally walked around the house and my school bumping into people and things because I couldn't put them down. Thanks for doing this 30 Days event. I am having fun sharing with others!

For me, it wasn't the books that sucked me in, but the movie "Twilight".  A colleague of mine at work had actually given me the books "Twilight" and "New Moon" about 6-8 months prior to me seeing "Twilight" on DVD in March 2009 because she knew I loved vampires, but since the books were "Young Adult"; I just dissed them and kept them in my desk at work never giving them a second thought.   I know...........blasphemy! Then..........when I saw "Twilight" on DVD.............MY WORLD AS I KNEW IT CEASED TO EXIST!  By this time I had gotten laid off from my job and had all the time in the world and realized I had the first two books in my possession all this time and didn't know the treasure I was coveting.  Needless to say I read them, bought the next two books and have since read the entire series 8 times, back to back.  I never wanted to leave the magical world that Stephenie had created.    I will say that "Eclipse" was my favorite of the book series - I believe it's because it seemed to have more humor in it and Edward starts to relax a little and let a little more of his personality shine. We also get more back stories in it.  But for movies, it will always be "Twilight".  *dreamy sigh*
