So I am new to this meeting celebrities gig...LOL Some of you may already know, I am taking my daughter to Phoenix to the Creation Ent. Convention in Litchfield! It is her birthday present, she will turn 13 a few days before the convention. I want this experience to be PERFECT for her (is there such a thing, seriously?) but I also want this to be perfect for ME. I am the Twilight obsessed one. She calls me crazy, tells people I need a 12step program. She reminds people that I am married to Edward C (I am, his name is Edward Chandler and he is from WA STate, about 30 min from Seattle) scary huh! LOL

She LOVES Kellan Lutz (I think he is HAWT, OBVIOUSLY) and I am hoping I dont get startstruck and turn stupid while I am there.

I want the perfect pictures but dont know if there is any such thing as photo op etiquette. LOL Do you just stand next to them, do they hug you? Can you ask for or give pecks on the cheek (would rather receive than give, DUH)

For autographs, with gold weekend passes we are front row so get first chances at autographs. (row by row), I want them to sign my book Breaking Dawn AND a picture. I will buy additional autograph tickets to go with my freebies I get w/ my weekend pass...

I am so nervous, we are flying all they way across the country and I have so so so many questions and dont want to screw this up. (For me OR HER) LOL

OK so thats it I suppose, Im a nervous wreck and my convention is still a month and a half away, LOL

You and my mum both have the same ideas. When Twi-tour comes to Brisbane I'm going to that. Unfortunately, I don't know either. Have fun! :D

You're so cute. I hope you and daughter have a great time. I'm attending the Twi-tour in LA next March. Hopefully, more of the stars sign on to come to that one.

I've seen pics from other folks who have been and I think it depends on the actor as far as what kind of picture you'll get. Kellan, for example, is pretty laid back and fun and I've seen him do a picture where he's hugging the girl. For other actors, like Justin and Ashley, I think they might be more reserved but you could probably put your arm on their shoulders or something. Main thing is just ask politely.

I don't know about the autographs. I know you buy an autograph ticket but I don't know if that means you're only limited to one thing. Sorry.

Have fun and maybe you can post a summary w/ pics so we can learn from your trip!

Hi! How exciting! We went to the Twicon in los angeles, and Kellan was so cool. He gave my friend and I both hugs, put his arm around us and went cheek to cheek in the photo, and he cozied up to girls in plenty of pictures. Some girls even had him hold their leg while they hiked it up in front of him. He's very fun, and I bet a peck would be no problem to him! Congrats on your great tickets and have the time of your life. They are all so funny during the panels, and you can tell what great friends they are. By the way, I also am a twi-obsessed mom. My 16 year old daughter thinks I am crazy!

I think you are just a SWEETHEART for even asking. :) I've seen a few things - some cute and some... NOT. But Violette and TM Jacob Mom are right on - be polite, have fun!

The fans aren't the only ones having fun. From the LA Twi-Tour, I can still hear Mike and Edi saying, "But I don't want to leave yet!" And it was already 11pm - lol!

The Twilight cast is overall very friendly and easy-going. Violette's right - some of them are a bit more reserved than the others - you'll be able to take your cue from them and the fans ahead of you when you get inside the photo op room.

But Kellan? He will definitely take the extra step to make your moment memorable. Get your Kellan Crush (bear hug) when you see him and kick any shyness to the curb. He'll make it worth it!

I'm SO looking forward to meeting you at the Phoenix Twi-Tour!!

Wow, Dette! Two Twi-Tours? You're a veteran! I'm in awe. Quick question on the autograph sessions. I have a weekend gold pass, for the one in LA next March, but I'm in the 5th row. :S I understand autographs are part of the package but does that mean we can only have one thing signed or can I bring a book and a poster or some such combination? And will everyone on the panel sign?

BTW, I'm also going to Comic Con in July. Anyone else going...or ever been? I'm kinda nervous. I hear it's HUGE.

Hi Violette! What can I say... I'm absolutely hooked. ;) Great question on the autograph - you will get your free autograph with the Gold pass, and if you want to have a 2nd or 3rd item signed, you'll just need to purchase additional autograph tickets. So if you want 3 things signed, Gold pass gets you the 1st, then you buy 2 autograph tix for the 2nd and 3rd. Combos are fine - all you need is the extra ticket(s).

In SF, I was in the 4th row, and I think I only waited about 20 mins before they called our row. (Gold Passes ROCK!!) The ballroom in LA is a bit smaller, but I was working the autographs line so I didn't get a chance to clock how long it took for each row. It'll be interesting to see how the room is set up in Phoenix - can't wait!

And yes!! I'm going to Comic-Con, too! (Told you I'm OCD on all this - lol) I'm a little anxious about it, though, coz I've been talking to people and have heard it's absolutely crazy. :/

Gosh! I wish you were my mom. My mom wouldn't dare take me to a Twilight convention.

Hey guys I am a huge Twifan and I am 38 years old. I only know one lady I work with that is as into it as I am! All three of my kids think I've lost my mind! Right now I have a total of 9 Rpatz posters on my wall and my 19 year old daughter is like "mom, how old are you really?" Ok so how do you guys find out about these twilight conventions? Sounds so cool!

Hi Deirdre! FYI - the Twi-Tours are hosted by Creation Entertainment (www.creationent.com) or you can check out all the upcoming Twi-Tours at www.twilightconvention.com :)
