David Slade's Vision For 'Eclipse' Is Darker And Gorier, According To Ashley Greene
"The first one was very focused on this love story and really sweet and it was beautiful, but it didn't have a lot of stuff that guys would go, 'Yeah, I want to go see that,'" she said. "There's going to be a lot more focus on [action], and the fight scene will have more emphasis on it. I definitely think it will be a little more guy-friendly."
According to "Twilight" star Ashley Greene, that battle might get a little easier when it comes time to buy tickets for "Eclipse."

the only fight you see in eclipse is edward and victoria and seth and riley....why add a huge fight scene? stick to the story guy!

don't forget the leah jake fight sceen where he gets hurt bad...........so yea theres more to it then edwards and seths fight.......

I'm really worried that Mr. Slade is going to turn Eclipse into a horror/gory movie and lose sight of the romance that drives the books - look at how bad Kristen looks in that wig!! Too bad Chris Weisz couldn't stay for Eclipse!

ashley said it is a little more guy friendly - not that it is only for fighting - the love between edward and bella is the reason for those books and I dont think that they have forgotten this!!

This statement has been what's worrying me ever since David Slade was announced as director. He better prove me wrong and make a great movie that has a lot of romance and action.

I don't even know what to say. I'm going to be mad if it doesn't stay true to the book and he pulls things out of thin air.
