Did You Know All This About Ms. Stewart

I stumbled across this article about Kristen's Stewart and her actting past entitled "What's so great about Kristen Stewart". What I realized after I read it was that I had no idea she is so accomplished. I don't know if that was the writers intention but that's what I took from it...

Epic vampire romance flick Twilight hurtled Kristen Stewart into a fame-and-fortune frenzy that's left her with mixed feelings. Her encounters with crazed fans have been "entirely positive but entirely overwhelming," she tells Collider.

"It's sort of like I only have to deal with the fans when I go out to do those events, and I just have to stand there for a minute and hope that I can keep a smile on my face and hope that I don't run off at the mouth and say something stupid that they'll put me on a cross for." Well, she's no Megan Fox. Just yet.

But Kristen Stewart has shown a remarkable ability to adapt and excel in her 18 short years. Stewart was born from humble beginnings in Los Angeles, California, but spent part of her childhood in Colorado. She had a minor role in the 1999 made-for-television film The Thirteenth Year, and then appeared in an indie flick, The Safety of Objects, in which she played tomboy daughter to Patricia Clarkson's troubled single mother. Stewart’s big break came, of course, when she landed a role in the thriller Panic Room.

After Panic Room's success, Stewart was cast in Cold Creek Manor as the daughter of Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone's characters, but it was a box-office flop. Her first starring role followed, in the children's action-comedy Catch That Kid, with Max Thieriot and High School Musical star Corbin Bleu.

Then she dazzled future casting directors in the science fiction-adventure film, Zathura, released in 2005. Here's a nice video stroll down memory lane:

Now the star's life is entirely too frenetic to break for lunch, since she has four movies which are currently in production, and she just debuted in Adventureland at Sundance!

Look for her in the Twilight sequel New Moon, the Jules Mann-Stewart-directed drama K-11, as Joan Jett in biopic The Runaways and in the drama Welcome to the Rileys, opposite The Sopranos' James Gandolfini.

Is Kristen Stewart destined for great things? Fughettaboutit.

Did you think the same way I did after reading this?
