Get out the No Doz because according to Entertainment Weekly Kellan Lutz is in final negotiations to play Dean, a well-liked, well-off high school jock in the new Nightmare On Elm Street movie. Jackie Earle Haley from The Watchmen has been called upon to step into the shoes of Freddie Krueger. Rooney Mara is also in final talks to star as the films heroine Nancy, and Thomas Dekker and Kyle Gallner have also signed on for the film.
