You may think the copyright thing is a bummer but the artist owns the right to their property. Think of it this way; someone likes your new handbag, so they borrow it to wear out and get tons of compliments on how cool it is but you are the one who worked to earn the money to acquire the handbag. Do you think it is fair to you being the one who should have been the one getting the props on the new handbag or the person who borrowed it and did nothing for it? I am glad there are laws to protect artist's property.  Nothing in life is free, but people sure do try to take advantage whenever they can!
