Fifty Shades of Grey': Experts (Including Twifans.com Alison Genet) Cast Christian Grey
People just can't stop talking about "Fifty Shades of Grey." E L James has set the literary world on fire with as erotic novel that explores the relationship between a dark and mysterious guy named Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, an innocent college graduate.
The guilty-pleasure book features characters that James created in her"Twilight" fan fiction, and it's now being made into a feature film. That, of course, has had Hollywood buzzing with casting rumors about who could play the role of Christian Grey.
Fans of the trilogy already have strong opinions about the part, so MTV News caught up with some experts for their take.
"Christian definitely needs to be clean-cut, but extremely sexy when disheveled," Alison Genet of Twifans.com told MTV News. "I wouldn't choose a man that is overly chiseled. No juicehead gorillas need apply. Hair that can be neatly brushed, but when playing, it's loose and wild like Johnny Depp hair. Not super short."
Genet of Twifans.com agreed, saying Gosling's undeniable charm could make him the perfect Christian Grey: "Ryan Gosling, Ryan Gosling, and Ryan Gosling. Imaging him in jeans hung low on the hip."

Ian can look and be sophisticated and is also very sexy to look at. He has beautiful hair and his eyes are to die for .He can be ruthless as well as sweet and his tasseled hair look is just yummy!

Alex Pettyfer would be a perfect Christian! I think Ryan Gosling is to old for the part.

I have been saying Henry Cavill since i first heard they were making a movie and i stick to it!!! he is super hot and can pull fifty off because he even has a mean sexy look gah

rob could never ever ver pull this off...he is nowhere near good enough to pull off fifty. Ryan could do it but he isnt very sexy so nooooooooo...and the vampire diaries guy is just idk he has too much makeup on all of the time and i would prefer a make up free fifty

I think Henry Cavill should do it! He is so beautiful! Catherine Hardwicke wanted to cast him as Edward Cullen! This role would be perfect for him!

And I think Kristen Stewart would be great as Anastasia. she's already taken on edgy roles. Or Amanda Siefred. I think that's how you spell her name! She has that wide-eyed innocence that someone playing Ana needs. Plus, Amanda is due for a big movie role!

@ Dorothy .. .someone could have read them a few years ago, because it was originally a Twilight fanfiction on Twilighted.net and fancfiction.net under the surname "Snowqueensicedragon, or ICY" and the title of the work at that time was "Master of the Universe" or MOTU. The characters were originally Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. Once E. L. James found a publishers she pulled the fanfics from the web and MOTU was renamed "50 Shades of Grey" and went to print. I read it about a year prior to print. :)
