Final Fight Scene of Breaking Dawn to Film Outside of Baton Rouge? reports:
"A source at the Louisiana Film Commission has revealed which scene from the anticipated final installment of the Twilight movie franchise will be filming very near to the Baton Rouge area.
Recently, Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the highly lucrative film series The Twilight Saga, announced that filming for the franchise’s final chapter, Breaking Dawn, will partially take place in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A source within the Louisiana Film Commission has disclosed to me that members of the Breaking Dawn production crew have already scouted out the location they are planning to use for the film; which the studio is releasing in two parts.
The scene will be the final confrontation between the Cullen clan, who are joined by the Quileute wolf pack and their friends, and the Volturi. The scene, most of which is taken directly from the novel, has been extended to include several physical fights. It is expected that many Twilight fans will be flocking to Louisiana when the studio begins filming in the area; which is why the exact area the production team has decided on is being kept tightly under wrap."

It's suppose to be in snow and they plan on doing it in the blistering hot weather? And why do they call it a fight there is no fight. It's just a conversation really.

It depends on when they film. I live in the South and sometimes it can get very cold-- like New York cold. It just doesn't ever snow and it's not that windy (ok, it does, but I wouldn't call it snow; it's more like an inch of mush). If they film during December, it should be cloudy. CGI can also help, if need be.
I think this could possible be a scene that's filmed on a huge set, but I'm hoping otherwise.

Yah, i agree with sanchez. What do they mean 'several physical fights'? It doesnt come to that. We all know that! Grrrr....bad info i think.

i think similar to new moon they want to make these scenes more "visual" if i hadnt read the books and was just a movie goer persay like my husband he would go "oh was that it" in response to the ending of the film/book.......... so i can see what the are trying to do (possibly) again this is just my thoughts because of the way they did the volturi scene in new moon. i just hope they dont change much at all and what they do that it feels right with the film and story

maybe they will be shooting in the winter that way it wont be too bad for the actors, not having to work in freezing weather ya know, and yeah I wouldn't say we get snow, more like slush, it has snowed more here since 2008 than it has in the past ten years before that, and we only get maybe 10 -15 really cold days all winter long, but serveral fights taking place idk about that, hummm, but I hope they are all here for a while, more of a chance for fans who normaly don't get to see this kind of thind, a chance to see it all

Yay! I want some physical stuff! I really do. I mean i just don't want to see all of them sand there. even though it goes against the book, i want to see it! Maybe like Jane getting angry at Bella for blocking her power and charging her. Even though it won't happen, i want to see Edward get all protective of her! I love that side of him! lol. :)

yay! Im excited for it to end in a fight!! You guys have to admit that you wanna see a fight!!! Why would you want to see a movie that end in conversation? Breaking Dawn was probably my least favorite book. After the wedding it got boring!
