FOR ROBERT'S SAKE "Respect Me" Campaign!!!
Now, I know it is super exciting when you get to meet one of the Twilight movie stars, but I think it's time we set some limits.
The story that has been spreading across the internet is that Robert Pattinson, while filming his latest film, Remember Me, in NYC, was nearly hit by a taxi when crossing a street while being chased by a mob of teenage fan girls, which were being held off by his team of five security guards. The following is straight from a spokesperson for Summit Entertainment about the incident:
“Rob Pattinson is fine, the reports are exaggerated and it was not caused by fans. Production continues.”
Even though, thankfully, the rumors are just an exaggeration and Rob is okay, it's still a good reminder that we need to respect the celebrities from Twilight, and any other movies too. Let Me Sign.com has started a great campaign (the Respect Me campaign) to encourage people to treat Robert Pattinson, and the rest of the Twilight cast, with respect. They are normal people just like you and me. They deserve at least a little peace and quiet. If you're interested in this campaign, please help spread the word! poor rob. the price of fame is high but he shouldn't have to suffer so much to do the thing he loves the most. people- if you want him to continue being an actor or anything to do with being famous, by GOD don't make him lose his mind first! he's gonna lose it! it's ok to like him, or as most of you think you "love" him (how you can love someone you've never met, i don't know) but you're supposed to respect the people you "love" right? good lord, give the man some space! anywho.... just calm down please.

I totally agree. Rob really needs some rest. I mean, we all know he suffers from some kind of paranoia about being followed around and stuff; what those "fans" are doing will not gonna help at all...
Let the poor kid alone a little bit... ¬¬

Yah i agree, just because fans and ppl like them Rob wants to stop doing the rest of the movies after new moon and that is bad. If he dose quit who will play edward i dont thin anyone would be able to take his place. | (
