GossipCop clears the air on KStew's breakdown..

GossipCop.com reports:

"After a few days of invasive Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart coverage, it’s nice to see outlets getting back to good old-fashioned wrong reporting.

According to a British magazine Showbiz Spy cites, Pattinson’s recent visit to Montreal was meant to help Stewart get through a “breakdown.”

An anonymous “source” for the tabloid claims Stewart “can’t handle” her fame and “refused to go to this year’s Teen Choice Awards.”

“She’s filming On The Road in Montreal and could have gone,” continues the mag, “but didn’t want to have to face the media spotlight yet again.” Supposedly, Pattinson “knew that she was going through a hard time,” and flew immediately to Canada to “boost her spirits.”

Oh, but the magazine insists this “crisis” has been going for a long time. Its source alleges Stewart “has been at the breaking point ever since they finished filming Eclipse.”

Let’s all take some deep breaths and return to reality.

Kristen Stewart did not have a “breakdown.”

While it’s true that Stewart didn’t attend the Teen Choice Awards because of On The Road obligations, it’s just as true that she’s routinely made appearances in the months since Eclipse closed production. In fact, she presented a preview of that very film at the MTV Movie Awards.

Stewart has been in the public eye for years. Her discomfort with some aspects of celebrity is well documented, but that’s all it is: discomfort. There was no sudden panic while shooting On The Road. There was no cross-continent rescue mission for Pattinson.

But tabs feel the need to drum up drama instead of reporting what the Montreal trip actually was — a perfectly happy visit. It’s too bad that crisis sells."

When someone has a breakdown, they are unable to function at all. This is not the case with Kristen. The truth is that she had a conflicting work commitment. Yes she is private, Yes she is not totally comfortable with being in the glaring spotlight, but it is also true that she is a veteran. It also true that she did quite a bit of promotional work for Eclipse and during the entire promotion she looked healthy and beautiful. She actually said that she had fun. Prior to that she was busy with the promotion for the Runaways and re-issuing of the Yellow Handkerchief. The truth is that she started rehearsal for OTR in July and the actual filming just started in August right during the time as the TCAs. Kristen has a very small window of time now to get this film completed so that she is on time and available to begin work on Breaking Dawn.

While there were a lot of actors from the Twilight Saga in attendance @ the TCAs there also were quite a few that didn't attend.

People can't accept the fact that Rob and Kristen are a couple. They are quiet about their relationship and it's totally okay to be that way. As a matter of fact that fact that they are not parading themselves all over the place with PDAs make me understand that they really respect and love each other and are in a serious committed relationship. All of the fight, break up rumors, etc that have come out this summer and come out every summer when they finish filming the Twilight Saga are false. My bet is that they have been together the entire time, and the only time that they were not together is when they actually working, which is true of all couples in the entertainment industry. Rob went to visit her because he's in a relationship with her, loves her and nothing more. I agree with Rosa Fallon Cullen. It bothers me that people relish seeing other people unhappy. That they have to make up stories to trying to destroy something that they envy. No wonder they are keeping things private. I would too, if I were in the same situation. I wish both of them well. Leave them alone...let their relationship develop and grow on it's own without outside negativity and interference.

Comment by Carmen Rohde on August 25, 2010 at 1:20pm: When they got to LAX they were both annoyed. The story that came out was paparazzi got seats on the same plane and tried to get photos of there. Rob was just as annoyed as Kristen. Also, the photo that was taken of them kissing, was done clandestinely. They did not pose for it and while it made all the Robsten supporters happy was truly invasive. Kristen is not the only celebrity that has showed their annoyance with the papz.
