We saw plenty of Taylor Lautner at the MTV Movie Awards last night, but did anyone see Selena?

Lainey Gossip was the first to report last Friday that Taylena split. While neither star ever really confirmed the romance, the two were seen out on several dates in Vancouver while Taylor was filming New Moon and Selena was filming Ramona and the Beezus. They even met each other's family last month and Selena spent some quality time with Taylor's little sis. So was it just a relationship of convenience? Both young, cute, and just so happened to be filming at the same place at the same time? I'm not so sure. I think they looked totally smitten with each other.

Taylor and Selena are done with filming in Vancouver and have left the area. Both were supposed to be at the movie awards this weekend. During Jim Carrey's acceptance speech, the cameras cut away to the audience and zoomed in on Lautner. Seated to his left was his agent. Did he want to reward the guy for working so hard for him? Or did he not have enough time to come up with another date? Maybe he didn't want to take any other girl. Rumor has it that Summit Entertainment does not want Taylor seen with a girlfriend as he is a star on the rise like Robert Pattinson. So did he really leave Vancouver without giving Selena a head's up? I hope not. Who knows what will happen in the future anyway. In the meantime, I'm sure we will be seeing plenty of both on the big screens.
