Hopes Up For Breaking Dawn According To Ashley Green

From BooBoo Stewart and recently Taylor Lautner, now it's Ashley Green who's hoping Breaking Dawn will get a "Green Light" into the big screen.

In recent interview Ashley stated:

I know Harry Potter went on – it’s still going on – for a really long time. These kids basically grew up in these films. But with ours, we can’t age, so that’s the big difference. We have to get [the films] done. We filmed the second one and we’re about to jump into the third. I’m not sure about the fourth one yet – but I’m assuming that we’re going to get that one done in a timely manner as well. I think we’ll film them, and then how they want to release them is up to their discretion. At least we’ll be able to have this Twilight force behind us for a while, but I think the filming will be done fairly soon.

I hope they get to film before they get to busy with other projects and don't have time. I know Rob is very popular and he may not have time to do BD. hope they film it. *fingers crossed*

Based on their previous production time table, I suspect that the Breaking Dawn will begin filming in March or April. If they do movies on the book, the first one will be completed around July for a Nov/Dec 2010 release and then the final movie will be in production by September/October 2010 and released summer of 2011.
Of course this is only speculation and would depend on the actor's other committments among other things.

They also could film BD all at once to make sure they have no actor schedule problems (like Lord of the Rings) and then split the movie into 2 parts during post production and release the parts about 6-9 months apart.

I don't see them not doing BD. This whole series has grown into an enormous cash cow, where so many people are tied to the revenue stream. Not only from movie proceeds but from clothing, cosmetics, nik-knacks, toys (action figures lol), posters, pictures, and such. They're going to want to keep the focus and the heat on these films for a long as possible.
