[Insert Clever Title Here]
so the mtv movie awards were pretty much DA BOMB DIGGITY.
of course the only reason i watched them was because they showed the VERY FIRST NEW MOON TRAILER!
[insert fangirl scream here]
and of course, it was AMAZAZING!
but lets be honest... we all want more right? and the movie isn't coming out until november, right?
well i have a proposal... lets all post a blog and talk about how we think that the opening for new moon should go. (whether it is 100% with the book or not)
so here we (i) go.
OPENING FOR NEW MOON:
by: Lindsey Johnston
bella sits on the edge of the cliff whilst the voice of her beloved edward rings in her ears.
Should she do it?
Will she do it?
only fans of this book knows what is to come.
she feels a tear stream down her pale cheek and she closes her eyes to block out the world around her so she can focus on this memory that isn't a memory at all.
she looks down at the crazy waves as they move caoticly (sp) in every which way.
cue the thunder.
she now lifts her head up to the sky filled with black clouds covering the magnificent sun with it's black glory and the rain starts to drop.
she leans even more toward the unforgiving waves and lets herself go.
as she falls, the screen fades to white and we start at the beginning of the ever popular story we all love and know as
NEW MOON.
yep. wow, that was fun. haha. even though that isn't 100% how it goes, i would like to see that opening.
haha.

what I was thinking is there probably going to use something from chapter one when it talks about bella seeing herself in the mirrow and she's very old but she thought at first it was gran she was looking at Edward and bella looking at the perfection of edward being seventeen forever and her just plain old . I think that maybe they will use that in the start of the movie because in the begining of the book she is so angry for turning a year older then edward and getting older by the minute :)

Well think about it, the beginning of Twilight had her quoting the preface from the book. I think your idea would be better, use the vision you shared (lurching herself off the cliff) then fade to white and so yea, the preface from new moon would not fit but it would be damn good! I cant wait to see the cliff scene! They better leave that in there, LOL its a pivitol point in the book!

I like what you said, but it sounded like Bella was contemplating suicide. It might look that way on screen too.

hmmm maybe her laying there in the wods kind of sprawled out every where quoting"these violent delights have violent ends and in their triumph die,like fire and powder, which as they kiss,consume.

i agree, it would look like she was commiting suicide, but i kinda like that tricking of the audience--
i mean afterall, alice sees bella jumping off of a cliff and that gives her the impression that bella commited suicide. thus, kind of edward's thinking. i think that it would also make the audience in the end kind of understand why edward freaked out. i just think it wouuld be cool to make it appear as if she did commit suicide cuz it goes along with the book so well. :D

i like the idea on the page but only if it shows it agian in the movie only in the story line. i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
