Kaleb rocks! and yes, I agree there's no way. Summit would lose a generous amount of fans and $$$ if its R. Agree with the Mormon (Sp?) issue also. I'm not one, but I'm pretty sure they have rules to follow... making a movie with an adult level rating may not be one of them.

I don't want Breaking Dawn to be Rated R. And the only ones who wants it to be Rated R, are those who wish to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart f*** on screen. For those people it's not Edward and Bella, it's R&K.

And many many fans of the saga would not be able to watch Breaking Dawn, if it was made Rated R. And it would mean that Summit would lose much of money; And there would be many mad TwiFans around the world. Do we want that? No.

Kaleb,
I completely agree with you that it should not be rated R. It is not necessary and with Stephenie being a producer, I am confident that it will communicate the story correctly!!!

I just want to see the scenes as they are in the book. There are ways to show something without being so graphic but the honeymoon scene, the feathers effect and the birth must be in the movie. If teens had read the books then there shouldn't be any problem with the movie. I'm confident in Stephanie and the way she handle things but I will be very disappointed if they cut the most important scenes of the book.

it doesn´t have to be rated r... i mean its a lovestory not a porn!! and i know a lot pg-13 movies with hot steamy love scenes, so as long as we see the love between edward&bella and they show us beautiful love scenes i will be happy as hell :))

I don't think it has to be rated R they only way it would go that way is if Rob an K agreed to shoot nude scenes during they honeymoon of E&B and the birth was gorie and graphic and I think they can give us good scenes without it being rated R. I mean look at Remember Me Robs scenes with Emilie was pretty hot so I think we can still have passionate lovemaking between the two of them however we know that with B being mortal we're not gonna that until she changes so I am more excited for the love scene inside the cabin when they tear each others clothes off after the baby is born......

I agree with Kaleb. Although some of us Twilight Mom's wouldn't mind it being R rated, a mass majority of the films popularity is from people under 18 and beside Stephanie Meyer didn't write the books R rated, why change them.
