Melissa Rosenburg does an interview and discusses adapting the books Twilight to Eclipse into screenplays. Some interesting items to me were:

1. Melissa worked on the hit show "The O.C"
2. She was a dancer and started her career with a dance movie.
3. When asked what she thought of teens and vampires her response was "I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer, one of the best tv shows of all time".
4. She had no interaction with Stephenie Meyer on Twilight.
5. Stephenie had written in her contract to not stray from the book. Melissa thought this was very "smart for a writer".
6. Once Twilight was in production she started New Moon.
7. Eclipse was finished right after New Moon script was done.
8. Melissa and Stephenie have collaborated a lot on Eclipse and brought a lot of mythology into the movie that is not in the book but it is straight from Stephenie.
9. She is working full time on Showtime's Dexter and Eclipse at the same time. As she did with the other 2 screenplays and movies.
