Let's Dicect Today's New Moon Photos shall we?

1. Edward's Eyes

They should be dark since he is very hungry from not hunting. He has golden contacts in. Should be black.

2. Sunlight

So far we see Edward in full sunlight and partial sunlight during the picture. He never hits the sun or the Volturi would have killed him instantly. But they show him in the sun.

3. The kiss

I love this add. I want as much kissing as possible under the allowable movie rating system. But in the book there was not a kiss.

4. The location

Edward is supposed to be in an alley. That beautiful doorway couldn't pass for an alley any day. It is a beautiful location though.

5. Sparkle

Robert has black dots all over his body. This is for special effects to be added with computer graphics. Either they are giving him more abs (thought he looked good to me) or it's for sparkle. The black dots give them references of where the sunlight hits the body and movement so the sparkle glistens just right while moving. Now he shouldn't sparkle or the Volturi will kill him instantly according to the book.

Other than those differences from the book, New Moon filming pictures are amazing. Kristen looks very emotional. Which makes me uber happy. She looks like she is running for her life. Her life being his life. Love the running through the fountain. Glad they kept that. The crowd is not as crowded as I envisioned but with the camera angles it might be totally different from the ground.

Anybody think differently? Or have things to add?

I just don't want them taking too much away from an already amazing story (especially since each component of the book is specific for something). And though I love to see him sparkle (and shirtless... yum) he is NOT supposed to be sparkly! C'mon! Everyone knows that! Must trust Chris Must trust Chris Must trust Chris....

Comment by Elle on May 28, 2009 at 12:28am: I wonder if Chris read New Moon because this is alot to not follow w/the book. The screenwriter is the one that wrote for Twilight too. She missed alot in there too. I do wonder how this is going to play out.
