Twicrack Addict has the scoop: (Warning possible *SPOILERS*)

TwiCrackers, meet Christie Burke who's been cast as teenage Renesemee in Breaking Dawn!

Christie - aka second luckiest gal in the world (first place still goes to Kristen, natch) - apparently gets to make out with Taylor Lautner in a flash-forward to Jacob and Renesemee living happily ever after...

Whether this is a Bella flash forward or when Jacob first imprints on her (as previous rumoued Lainey script deets detailed a Jacob/Renesemee montage) will remain to be seen.

According to her representation, Performers Management Christie is 5'7, has hazel eyes, brown hair (though her pic totes look more auburn) and weighs 115lbs (plenty light enough for Jacob to spin her around in throws of adoration, etc).

OK my personal opinion on this is i think its a good idea... and it does somewhat stick to the book. It may not be actually written into the book but the book is written in BELLAS point of view. Yes there are parts where it is Jacob's pov. Also, Stephanie Meyer is attached to this film so I don't really see something like the happening without her approving it at this point. Just a reminder that when a wolf imprints it is something they want to be with for life.... just because she's a little girl doesn't mean he wants to make out with her right away... but as she grows... their relationship grows. Also, in Eclipse the flash forward of Bella and Edward married and running through the woods with Bella as a vampire wasn't written in the book either, but I think most of us LOVED it! So all in all I think this is a great idea and I'm really looking forward to seeing it in the film! :)

Too many changes from the book - stick to the story i say.
The books are perfect just the way they are.

@Lacey Cook -- Well put. Thanks for setting the record straight. I totally agree. Movies never stick strictly to the book -- it's called 'embellishments.' And Stephenie Meyer is there as producer to keep things in line. I do think that if they use Christie Burke as an older Renesmee, she is as close a resemblance to a mix of Edward and Bella as you're ever going to get. Well done, casting director and Summit!

@Lacey Cook......I totally agree. I think its ok to add a lil extra to some movies, as long as its not too ridiculous and out of character. Just one correction, the scene where they flashfoward to bella and edward running thru the woods and we can see bella as a vampire...tht seen was in New Moon, not Eclipse.

I love the idea of showin a teenage us something to look foward to. Hopefully one day the future story of nessie/jake, bella/edward, and the whole cullen family will be written.

She looks more like the daughter of Alice... And who cares if they don't stick to the book for the imprinting part? It was subtle in the book so they have to portray it in a way that will translate to the viewers of the film.

I'm glad they're putting a montage for teenage Renesmee! She actually kinda looks like an older Mackenzie Foy which is good, nicely cast, but Emma Roberts would has a much better resemblance to Mackenzie than Christie does and I always imagined her as teen Renesmee.

I'm sooo jealous she gets to make out with Taylor, lucky her! ;)
