Michael Copon Dishes on Video Wanting Another Role in the Twilight Series Other Than Jacob

TwiFans.com Exclusive!!! Here is a video interviewing Michael Copon. For a brief time the man everyone loved to hate, looked as if Michael Copon were going to get the big break of his career when producers for Twilight weren't sure Taylor Lautner would be able to bulk up and be manly enough to continue to play the role of Jacob Black for the sequel, New Moon.
Copon got all pre-excited and changed his Facebook status, causing an uproar among rabid Twilight fans, although Copon claims it was a faux Facebook account that first ignited the casting rumor. Then it was a rude awakening for Copon with Taylor Lautner bulked up and added weight like a mad man insuring himself the role.
He is trying to dispel the bad rumors and save face to us Twilighters because he wants to be one of the other Native Americans. Can we say Sam Ulley anyone?

OH my god did you watch it!!! He is still working the angle. And what the bs about yes he has read the first book. Last time it was i read the cliff notes version. What other guy in the film could he be? The only other native american that is bigger than jacob is sam leader of the pack

Can I hear "He's sbeing a totally desperate jerk!", anyone? Seriously, he's such a jerk, he doesn't deserve to be the movie, since he's so cocky. This whole Twilight thing will just pass him by, I bet. Sure, for the time being, most people know him, but soon, he'll just be pushed aside into a corner. I'd pity him if I didn't hate him. The thing that really made me hate him, was what he said about reading cliff notes. Oh yeah, that guy's an idiot.

I like the current Sam fine. Although he could follow Taylor's example and bulk up. This guy just doesn't do anything for me. And if he wants a role so badly why hasn't he read the book! It's not like it's a hard read.
