Michael Sheen to play Aro in New Moon?
"In New Moon, Sheen will play Aro, the leader of an Italian vampire clan called the Volturi.
Director Chris Weitz confirmed Sheen’s casting to The Mail on Sunday and said he had ‘aggressively’ pursued the actor.
‘Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires,’ he said. ‘Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat.’"
Summit has yet to confirm anything though.

I guess he would be ok.Not exatly like I imagined Aro because I imagined him older than he really is. But I did loe his performane in Underworld!He was my favourite character in it :D

Yes I am actually really psyched I would LOVE him as Aro. He is a great actor and I think he could play the two faced role of Aro very well :)

ehh...i pictured him slightly younger. not psyched about it but well see im not judging before the movie comes out 75,000 people put their foots in their mouths when they signed the petition against rob so only time will tell. i pictured aro as Alex O' Laughlin from Moonlight.

He's 40. I think that is too old! But the Twilight facebook says he is.
