As we know The merger of Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment is now official and there is a possibility of a new ongoing "Twilight" TV series..i hope not :( .but if there is a tv series , what are the ideas for how the Saga could continue??????
Hollywood life talked to Jackson Rathbone at the InStyle Golden Globes After Party about the idea of continuing the series
"They are always discussing it, it depends how they would go about it. I have loved my character and I have loved playing Jasper through the years, so if there is any extention of playing Jasper — more so in his own element, maybe go back in time and do a vampire western, show Jasper where he came from — I would be down for that. I would sign up for that."
so what are the ideas for how the Saga could continue?what kinds of productions could fans look forward to, should Stephenie Meyer eventually agree with CEO Feltheimer?
twilightnewssite collected a few idea of how the saga could continue ...
" Well, one way would be to follow "Renesmee" as she grows up and experiences her little world. It is well known by now that Stephenie Meyer has said this character would be the one to be continued in book format if any further Twilight Saga stories were written."
there are also Some other interesting ideas :-
The “Bree Tanner” novella also offered a striking look at the world of the typical vampire. Basically, new vampires fall victim to a series of abusive and manipulative ploys by their “creators.” We see the same abusive relationships in the covens of the warring southern areas of North America, including Maria’s coven, from which Jasper Cullen previously escaped.
Stories from the Illustrated Guide.
The encyclopedia of the Twilight Saga, offers some intriguing stories from vampire history, including an extended family in Europe who knows full well — and is often aided by — their vampire forebear, who changes a selected family member into a new immortal each generation. Much could be elaborated upon there.
This god-like vampire character, whose shockingly handsome appearance (even among vampires) and his radiant goodness literally repels the typically evil and selfish vampires who cross his path. He walked out of the story at the end of “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner,” and fans have wondered what ever became of him.
Vampires in “Bree Tanner” spend a lot of time swimming, since they have nearly limitless strength, and don’t need to breathe. Stephenie Meyer has said that she’s written several hundred pages of a new series based on mermaid life, but any books have yet to see the light of day. Why couldn’t the mermaids inhabit the same world as the Cullens?
The Cullen’s adopted “cousins,” the Denali Coven is populated with fascinating characters, are also vegetarians, live with riveting and sorrowful back stories, and have yet to be explored in depth. They have in-depth ties to the Volturi (the evil vampire rulers) and to the heroic Cullen family. All of which spells: Drama. Plus, at the end of Breaking Dawn, the coven expands with a new and inspiring character in Garrett, who is just beginning a new romance with one of the sisters, and is trying to live as a vegetarian as well. Can he succeed, or will his blood-lust overcome his love for the electrifying Kate?
The hive-mind detectives, secret-identity-having, crime-solving avengers of the immortal world. The ancient mythologies and ceremonies of Native America. The everyday good-deed-doers. The defenders of an unwitting humanity against the blood-sucking vampires that prowl the face of the earth. The six-packs. No matter how you look at them, the wolfpack has a lot to offer. While the Quileute tribe would probably complain, every Native American family in North America would tune in religiously each week. And what would happen if a real werewolf showed up? Do they attack him for his uncontrollable violence every full moon? Or welcome him like a brother? Or both? And what happens when Caius finds out they’re harboring him on the Rez?
So, what do you think? Do you like any of these ideas ??
