More Twilight? Ideas for how 'The Twilight Saga' could continue after 'Breaking Dawn'

As we know The merger of Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment is now official and there is a possibility of a new ongoing "Twilight" TV series..i hope not :( .but if there is a tv series , what are the ideas for how the Saga could continue??????

Hollywood life talked to Jackson Rathbone at the InStyle Golden Globes After Party about  the idea of continuing the series

"They are always discussing it, it depends how they would go about it. I have loved my character and I have loved playing Jasper through the years, so if there is any extention of playing Jasper — more so in his own element, maybe go back in time and do a vampire western, show Jasper where he came from — I would be down for that. I would sign up for that."

so what are the ideas for how the Saga could continue?what kinds of productions could fans look forward to, should Stephenie Meyer eventually agree with CEO Feltheimer?

twilightnewssite collected a few idea of how the saga could continue ...

" Well, one way would be to follow "Renesmee" as she grows up and experiences her little world. It is well known by now that Stephenie Meyer has said this character would be the one to be continued in book format if any further Twilight Saga stories were written."

there are also Some other interesting ideas :-

Abusive Covens.

The “Bree Tanner” novella also offered a striking look at the world of the typical vampire. Basically, new vampires fall victim to a series of abusive and manipulative ploys by their “creators.” We see the same abusive relationships in the covens of the warring southern areas of North America, including Maria’s coven, from which Jasper Cullen previously escaped.

Stories from the Illustrated Guide.

The encyclopedia of the Twilight Saga, offers some intriguing stories from vampire history, including an extended family in Europe who knows full well — and is often aided by — their vampire forebear, who changes a selected family member into a new immortal each generation. Much could be elaborated upon there.

Freaky Fred.

This god-like vampire character, whose shockingly handsome appearance (even among vampires) and his radiant goodness literally repels the typically evil and selfish vampires who cross his path. He walked out of the story at the end of “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner,” and fans have wondered what ever became of him.

Mermaids.

Vampires in “Bree Tanner” spend a lot of time swimming, since they have nearly limitless strength, and don’t need to breathe. Stephenie Meyer has said that she’s written several hundred pages of a new series based on mermaid life, but any books have yet to see the light of day. Why couldn’t the mermaids inhabit the same world as the Cullens?

Alaska.

The Cullen’s adopted “cousins,” the Denali Coven is populated with fascinating characters, are also vegetarians, live with riveting and sorrowful back stories, and have yet to be explored in depth. They have in-depth ties to the Volturi (the evil vampire rulers) and to the heroic Cullen family. All of which spells: Drama. Plus, at the end of Breaking Dawn, the coven expands with a new and inspiring character in Garrett, who is just beginning a new romance with one of the sisters, and is trying to live as a vegetarian as well. Can he succeed, or will his blood-lust overcome his love for the electrifying Kate?

Werewolves.

The hive-mind detectives, secret-identity-having, crime-solving avengers of the immortal world. The ancient mythologies and ceremonies of Native America. The everyday good-deed-doers.  The defenders of an unwitting humanity against the blood-sucking vampires that prowl the face of the earth. The six-packs. No matter how you look at them, the wolfpack has a lot to offer. While the Quileute tribe would probably complain, every Native American family in North America would tune in religiously each week.  And what would happen if a real werewolf showed up? Do they attack him for his uncontrollable violence every full moon? Or welcome him like a brother? Or both? And what happens when Caius finds out they’re harboring him on the Rez?

So, what do you think? Do you like any of these ideas ??

lets us know wht do you think in the comments ..

I hope they don't try to make a TV series. I'm alreay Twilighted out. But if they did, maybe they would/could make a season for each of the books? Four seasons. Twilight=Season 1, New Moon=Season 2, Eclipse=Season 3, Breaking Dawn=Season 4.

Maybe tell the backstories of all the characters. The Volturi or Bree Tanner. The possibilities could be endless, actually.

I want stuff about the Irish Coven.  Preferably Maggie.

Leah and Seth would be cool to learn about, too.

Or maybe Jake and Nessie.  (:

I feel like the company is trying to make money. It's not want the fans want it's what they want. I feel like they are trying to make a joke out of the Saga. People are already mocking the Twilight Saga, why make it worse? This is so over board! The idea's in this post is insaning! This will not be aproved by SM! I just know, everybody knows it. Why doesn't the company do something for the fans like a Twilight convention every year. Like Comicon,I think that would be good. The company would save a lot of money. Fans would be happy-maybe. I don't know, I may be shut down with this idea, well just leave the Saga alone! If there was more books, but there will be not only Midnight Sun, the fans would be happy-but there isn't.

I really don't know what to say on the matter of the subject, but Mermaids! Oh yes please! I would so love a Mermaid book by Stephanie! But I think it would be completely cheesy if The mermaids were in the same story as The Cullens, just plain cheesy. I have not found a good Mermaid book series yet, and I know if Stephanie Meyer writes it, it will be amazing! I'm so excited! Please Stephaine make another book series to add to my favorites and my bookshelf! :D

Oh and I really want Stephanie to make a continuation story in the POV of Renesmee about her life when she gets older, but i dont think they could or should make it into a television series...

I would love to see the Bree Tanner novella made into a movie :D

I also thought about whether or not they would show some of the stories in the Illustrated guide once I read it. ;p

The other stories sound pretty interesting too....

AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR MIDNIGHT SUN!!! :D <3

oh please, I bet most of the Twilight fans watch Vampire Diaries on tv and it has nothing to do with the books other than the character names. I bet anything you would watch a Twilight tv series. People need to stop being purists and if you truly are fans of the story and the characters, why not want to see what happens after, even if it's not written by SM?? Don't you guys read fan fiction?? SM doesn't write those and most fans still love them. I'm all in for a Twilight tv series that goes beyond the books, what happens after the story that we all know and love.

No. Leave well enough alone. Alexis is right. The Saga is already mocked so why make a cheesey TV show. I think BD 2 should be the end of the Saga and Lionsgate dont need to be trying to milk more money out of the Saga or the fans. It is time to move on. Twilight was a EPIC love story and it is one that will stay with the fans forever. Those fools over at Lionsgate dont care about the fans. All those greedy bastards see are dollar signs.
