I for one thought that it was true to the book. As well as the directing of the film was top notch. I soon will be starting a campaign for Chris Weitz to direct Breaking Dawn. I also like the fact that we got color in this film. The colors was so vibrant and at times in your face.. I also have to give credit to Kirsten Stewart. She really did breathe life into Bella this time around. I could actually feel her pain when Edward was shredding heart with the dagger that was his words. As well as feel her joy when Bella and Jake were reconnecting over the bikes build. Which brings me to Taylor Lautner. I am so happy to see him come out of the shadows and be his own leading man. I am not going to tell a lie but I also loved that every sculpted body of Taylor. What can I say I am a female. The ending for me was a bit like the book in the sense that it was blah, but a great way to get you to read the next book and watch the next film/ Well that is all from me now. I am going to be watching this film the entire weekend and will and more to my review.

My only complaint is that it was too short. Even though it went for two hours, it went SO fast. It had almost all the scenes, which was great, but they all seemed somewhat brief to me. Twilight didn't have as many of the scenes, which was a disappointment because as a result they missed out on a fair bit, but they were more detailed, although, unfortunately, some of the scenes were still wrong.
Overall, I thought that it was better than Twilight.

i thought the film was AMAZING! i loved every minute of it mainly because it was so true to the book and the added scenes actually worked. i have heaps of fav scenes but i wont mention them cause some werent revealed at all.i agree on it was too short. some reviews are saying it dragged on but i thought i could of gone a little longer. i will be watching it again and again and again. It was excellent. Chris truly captured all the key elements of New Moon. Okay.....the eyes, the sparkle, and the wolves were mind blowing. New Moon wasn't just about making the next movie, but bringing to life the next chapter in the saga. To the cast and crew, congratulatons on a sweet victory. Rachel, you will truly be missed. The Volturi were intimidating, the wolves were awesome, the Cullens, as always, wonderful and endearing, and Bella and Edward, truly destined for eternity. Aro was the vicious bastard I pictured, Jane was the witch I envisioned, and Taylor was the sweetheart I knew he was. As for Bella and Edward, the maturity and familiarity with their characters was evident in their performance, They took the believability of their characters to the next level. Wonderful job everyone, wonderful.

THE PASSION BETWEEN THEM WAS NOTHING LESS THAN EPIC. Unlike twilight, you could feel the burning desire between Edward and Bella. It wasn't like the awkward twilight first love kinda ordeal. I think Rob, Kristen, Taylor AND all of the rest of the actors and actresses did SUCH an amazing job. Everyone walked out of the theater completely AWESTRUCK. I cannot even express enough at how much i loved and appreciated how close Weitz followed the book, and how well Bella Edward and Jacob were played. FANTASTIC JOB GUYS!!!

Totally agree!!! EXCELLENT!!!!!!! Chris Weitz MUST direct Breaking Dawn!!! New Moon is my least favorite book, but OME it is so much better as a movie!!!! Totally agree about Kristen's acting in this one, she is Bella, I felt every ache and every joy. Taylor, he actually makes me like Jacob and I'm not a fan of that character persey....but Rob....for someone who was not in the film much....OME....with just a look of his eyes he can make you feel every emotion. And I must add I for one was grateful they moved the "not for guilt" discussion til before the Volturi!!!! Can you tell I loved it!!!! Thank you Chris Weitz....this was for the fans!!!

INCREDIBLE! It flowed effortlessly from one scene to the next and the chemistry between Krisen and Taylor was awesome. I agree about the ending and I would have loved to have seen the book more in the ending such as the plane ride home and Charlie taking her from Edward and more of the dialect between Bella and Edward in the end bedroom scene...other than that agree with all of yas...beautiful color, cgi and Kristen gets my kudos for this fil...flawless acting...10/10 for me 2....Gotta go again!

Taylor did an awesome job, Im a team Edward girl but he was awesome. Missing the Cullens as a whole made it hard for me what with Rose only having like 3 lines. but it held true to the book. I think the cullens were a little too pale, lead to them not being the worlds most beautiful people. But I hope Chris does Breaking Dawn, I hope K Stew goes to acting classes, and I have to say I loved it loved it loved it even though it doesnt sound as though i did reat job Chris weitz, oh and the cuts very interesting.
