Well the times were different, the roaring 20's women wore shorter skirts, cut their hair, and basically defied authority. She's wearing correct clothes. Rose from Titanic was an upper class woman in 1912, Rose was a upper middle class woman in the 20's. It's like saying someone from the 80's should dress like someone from the 90's. Every decade has a different style.

And I don't think this is the rape scene either, I think they're just messing around waiting to film, the people in the background would ruin the scene if they were filming, and Royce's friends would have been present for the big climax of the scene, he's there alone.

omg...that scene is so sad. in my head when i was reading, i imagened her in different clothes, different style...black and red but she still looks pretty.
