I'm baaaack with a new fanfiction book club selection ladies and gentleman. Remember how I changed your life and all by recommending you read "Master of the Universe", only the most panty meltin', nut poppin' fic on the mofo planet? Ya, I thought you'd remember that.

(I'm preeeetty sure you had to venture to Vicky's Secret to take advantage of the 4 for $30 deal since your other knickers were unsalvageable.)

SO, after reading MOTU there’s really no where to go but down, so sorry about that. BUUUUUUT, I did hear about a great fic that one of my bloggy friends is pimping big time on her site, The Cold Shower. In fact, she liked it so much she even made a HAWT YouTube video (below) to profess her addiction! Then, Vampdazzled on Twitter asked if anyone had a good fanfic recommendation, so I told her to check out TCS’s new fave fic. And jeez, by the next morning, Vampdazzled had finished the story and was also professing her undying love! Both of these ladies say this fic has the potential to rival MOTU. SAY WHAAAAAAT?

So without further ado, our next FanFiction book club selection will be “Million Dollar Baby”. A quickie summary: Bella’s mom Renee has been diagnosed with cancer, and Bella desperately needs to find the money to pay for a necessary surgery that could help save her life. To find swift resources to pay for the surgery, she sells herself for money… to Edward. Here is the brief summary on FanFiction.net:

I…am a sex slave; a person held in servitude as the property of another, completely subservient to a dominating influence. Technically, I suppose "whore" would be a more appropriate term to describe what I am. You see, I have made myself completely available to a man, albeit one man, in exchange for money. This would include, but is not limited to, my loyalty, discretion, and the use of my body in every way, shape and form that suits his needs.

The irony is that I wasn't forced into this life; I chose it. Well, I really didn't have another choice as a better opportunity hadn't presented itself in time, but I chose it all the same. He didn't force me. He didn't seek me out. I hadn't been kidnapped or brutally beaten into submission. I went willingly.

And I did it all to save a life.

“OK, I read all of “Million Dollar Baby" between last night and this morning. Not hard considering there is only 15 chapters at the moment. Normally, I do NOT read stories that aren't complete because I find it difficult to stay "in the story" if I have to wait a week or longer for an update. Of course, I've made exceptions and I am SO glad I made one for this story. Simply put, you must include it in your book club for your blog. Although it's only 15 chapters right now, it TRULY has the capability to be on par with MOTU as far as addictive reading and storyline go, and let me just say; I've NEVER said that about another story. “Million Dollar Baby" has a very interesting storyline, a wonderful headstrong, snarky, yet caring and compelling Bella, and a bit of a Doucheward (Edward) who is drop dead fuckhot and let's his true self shine sooner than one would think when they start reading the story.

I see some similarities between Bellas "coochie" monologue in MDB and the Inner Goddess Monologue in MOTU, BUT it doesn't distract me (meaning I don't think "this was done better in MOTU, etc.) and honestly, the coochie monologue is written so well, all I can do is giggle, and giggle some more! I love stories that actually have a plot, and this one has an incredible one. I love stories that have compelling, strong and smart characters, and this story has that. I love smokin' hot lemons that set my panties ablaze, this one CERTAINLY has those! *Grins*

I think it would make a great addition for your book club and I truly think as MDB moves along, it will most definitely attract more readers and fanatics just like MOTU has. Oops one more thing, even though I've made some comparisons between the two stories, I do want to say they ARE different stories, with different story lines; I'm only comparing them because I think MDB has the potential to be "as big" as MOTU is! Based on the quick synopsis of the story on FF.net and Vampdazzled’s generous review, I was super excited to start reading this story. And lemme just say, I'm seven chapters in and I am GRADE-A-HOOKED! This is some *lemony lemony lemony* s***! I'm reserving my full review for my next blog post on Friday that I'm dubbing "FanFiction Friday", and trust a guuuurl, this story will make your toes curl and your freagin feet tickle! I'd suggest not reading it at work. I was very uncomfortable in my cube today! *shifting in chair a lot*

As mentioned, this fic is still being written and is unfinished, but I don’t know about you, after MOTU, the idea of another 80 chapter story sounds daunting to me! I just want a shorty right now. Let’s read this by Friday. Doable? I mean, if it’s as addicting as MOTU, 15 chapters is nuthin'!
