NEW HQ New Moon set still....Let's dissect this sucker shall we? (with several closeups from within this picture)

I love this new set picture from inside Bella's house. There is so much going on that I thought I would break the pictures down into smaller pictures so we could really discuss what we are seeing here. The props are amazing down to the smallest details. This isn't inside the actual prop house that was built in Vancouver to replicate the one in Washington, this is a sound stage. The house in Vancouver is just plywood sheeting inside except for the front entry for porch shots. Now let's look at evey detail. Please point out things I miss.

First just notice the green couch, how fully dressed Jacob is. Bella is fully clothed with a jacket, so she must have just come in from outside. Alice also has a jacket on.

Here is a closeup of Bella's outfit.

Next a closeup of Bella & Charlie's coffee table. 4 remotes? LOL Oh Charlie. Hair bands, a hair brush, dominoes, a metal catch all tray, Fly fishing books, magazines (I can't see what type), a wood urn/container thing...very woodsy. So is Bella sitting around brushing her hair all the time? LOL
Now more onto Charlie's decor....

Just like the books say...BABY pictures of Bella around the house! This was the most interesting piece in the house to me. I hope int he movie they zoom in on some of them. Maybe Edward could be waiting for Bella in the living room and e looking at them. Now more of Charlie's "art". LOL

Fine artwork to Mr. Charlie Swan...the decor style...Chez Woods & Le fish.

I see more family photos but couldn't zoom in clearly on these. And yes more fish. Charlie in the eyes of the set coordinator has a one track mind!

Here is under the coffee table. There is movie stuff I know nothing about. But I think Bella is wearing tennis shoes in this shot. Got rid of the big boots in New Moon?

Close up on Jake. Jake why so many clothes on? Taylor is really listening to Chris here.

Chris Weitz listening to Kristen Stewart. Hopefully the movie is going to be great!

Here is a closeup of Alice. Check those eyes out. What do we think of the outfit. The outfits for the Cullens look a lot fancier than in Twilight. I like that because it's more in tune with the book. Expensive European clothing. Not so sure I like this hair for Alice. I would like to see more flip like in Twilight.

Not sure I like the shoes. They look like ballet shoes.

Alright what does anybody see that I missed and your thoughts?

Comment by tinkrbe1l3 on July 20, 2009 at 12:26pm: i'm wondering what the scene is...here's my conflict...bella and jacob look like they are in the clothes from this shot. this shot was when jacob is taking bella home after the cliff dive. she's thinking about if she should take a chance with jacob and then she hears edward tell her to be happy. jacob takes her stiffening as a sign of discomfort but once he smells a vampire he's ready to bolt. we all know bella stays and goes in to see alice. so now we have jacob in the shot above in the same clothes from the truck...same with bella. AND alice didn't have golden eyes when she first got to the house. she hadn't hunted yet. so i'm puzzled by the scene. don't know why jacob is there...unless him and bella put on the same clothes when alice comes back from seeing edward kill himself. bella is in a coat ready to go and jacob wears the same shirt. i'm overanalyzing it but that's the fun in the movie stills :-)

I am such a bad reader (when I say bad reader that means that I hate surprises so I always read the first 5 chapters then skip to the last three chapters and read them because I hate surprises so much and then go back and read the rest of the book) I love getting to see all the scenes. I just hope none of them get deleted!!! I am so excited!!!
