New Moon will hit cable tv in January
Twilight Examiner reports:
"Back in July of last year, Showtime nabbed the pay cable rights to Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (they also house Peter Facinelli's Nurse Jackie and Melissa Rosenberg's Dexter), and they began running Twilight on cable in January of this year.
Thanks to HitFix, it is now known that New Moon will be hitting Showtime for its cable debut on January 8th, 2011!
Back when it was announced that FX had obtained the rights to show the Saga on network television, it was noted that FX would begin showing the films in 2011. So, as New Moon approaches pay cable release, Twilight nears time to hit the networks!
The date for New Moon's cable debut makes sense since both Twilight and New Moon hit theaters in November and were released to DVD in March of the following year. The scheduling for the Showtime launch, then, falls in line with the parallel dates of significance that the two films have had so far."
Personally, I lurv it when the movies hit cable... while the family moans and groans when they see me getting out my Blue Ray DVD's to watch Twilight and New Moon, when it hits cable I have a excuse to kind of *leave it* when the movies on are...lol...

Yes, been waitng for it to hit the air for a long time now, I hate geting my dvd out also, so for now I watch Twilight more than New Moon since it is out on Showtime, but my family will hate seeing me watching it more on tv.

LOL i feel u on that i've watched Twilight on showtime now 14 times lol ... i hate getting out my dvd's to watch it .. my family gets all pissed cause whenever twilights on i say : oh s*** twilight we gotta watch it : lol i hate that we have to waite till january !! to me thats to long

THAT'S SWEET!!! Even though I have three different versions of New Moon on DVD, I will absolutely be watching that. That is a big event.

I have dish and have the movie channel and saw them airing Twilight this summer i would try to tune in to all the times they were playing it lol
