Okay so I always wondered why they called the comprimise scene the "Leg Hitch" scene... when really thats not the caseThe leg hitch scene and the comprimise scene are two totally different chapters in the book Eclispe.  The chapters are also far apart.  Like WTF?  In chapter 8 "Temper" she goes to see Jacob and they get in some sort of fight over the time she has left to be human, and then she rides her motorcycle home.  She gets there and sleeps on the couch and during the night Edward gets back from hunting.  They were both thought they would be mad at each other over something involved with Jacob.  But Bella forgets that shes suppose the mad and starts kissing him.
Pg. 185 "I reached out for him, found his hands in the darkness, and pulled myself closer to him.  His arms encircled me, cradling me to his chest.  My lips searched, hunting along his throat, to his chin, till I finally found his lips.  Edward kissed me softly for a moment, and then he chuckled."  They say cute little things to each other..."His hand curved around my elbow, moving slowly down my arm, across my ribs and over my waiste, tracing along my hip and dawn my leg, around my knee.  He paused there, his hand curling around my calf. He pulled my leg suddenly hitching it around his hip."

I know it is too late now, but I really wouldn't mind actually having this scene the way its suppose to be.

But the scene in the movie is pretty great too. :)

And I was also wondering why Stephenie Meyer hasn't corrected this, or commented on it saying they weren't the same scenes... if she has well I haven't come across it.

But yeah, Thaaaaaaanks for reading.

It's just because they have to cut and combine scenes sometimes. And they knew the leg hitch was a big deal to the fans so they knew they had to add it in. And the best place/scene to put it in the movie was the makeout on Edward's bed before the proposal. (In my opinion & obviously the filmmakers too.)

They probably just did it to save time, it fits into the scene so why not? =]
