pic of Trent Park Mansion in early spring
I'm SOooo stoked because I might get to study abroad for a few weeks in England in the summer term! I'd only be able to stay for about 3 weeks (if that
--I'm hoping my financial aid for the term will be enough to cover most of it and that I'll be able to scrape up some funds for the rest.) I'd be attending the Trent Park campus of Middlesex University in the area of Oakwood & Southgate. Which area of London does Rob Pattinson live in?
Trent Park [I believe] is in North London, if I'm not mistaken. Trent Park used to be part of an earlier park called Enfield, which dates back to the 14th century. The current manor house, Trent Park Mansion, ...I believe it was built in the late 1700s; it is now the main educational building on the Trent Park campus. I would be staying in one of the "halls" (dormitories) on campus in a private single room. I feel like I'd be going off to an "English boarding school" ala Harry Potter
Anyway, I hope I'll be able to swing it financially and make it a reality. I'm a single mom and full time student and my daughter and I have had to make a lot of sacrifices for me to earn this degree. It's my senior year now, and this study abroad experience would definitely make a very happy memory for me amidst all of the struggles! =)
