Gillian Lee Black and I want to share our festive Taylor Lautner birthday celebrations with our fellow Taylor lovers. Here's how we celebrated Taylor's birthday today:
Bella Black+LHJake: My twipal (bellalinz) and I headed over to the Olive Garden today, where I ordered mushroom ravioli (what else?). For dessert, we ordered a slice of strawberry cheesecake to share, and I asked the waiter to please sing 'Happy Birthday' when they brought the cake. So when he brought the cheesecake back...he had 3 other waiters/waitresses with him, plus they lit a candle on the cake! They asked us who the birthday person was, and we said, 'Taylor,' and they said 'which one of you is Taylor?' which cracked us up, and then bellalinz said, 'oh he's not here' and I said, 'He's in Vancouver.' And the waiters were thoroughly confused, so I guess they have no clue who we were talking about (how can that BE???). So then they sang 'Happy Birthday dear TAYLOR' and I just beamed and beamed and beamed, and bellalinz sang along, but I just wanted to listen and send HUGE best-birthday wishes across the skies to Taylor. Feel all the love pouring over you today, Taylor??? hahahahahaha, it was GREAT!! It was awesome to hear someone sing that for our Tay Tay. !!!!!!!!!! X)
Also, when we first arrived and the hostess asked for a name to call when our table was ready, we had planned to say ‘Taylor,’ but…the couple ahead of us had the last name ‘Taylor’ can you believe??? So I whispered to my Twipal, ‘say Jacob instead' -- and she did!!! So the hostess called out ‘Jacob’ about 10 minutes later! That's us!! :D
When we returned to my house, we watched all the Taylor skits from ‘Saturday Night Live’ December 2009 and laughed and admired how at ease Taylor seemed on that giant show. He’s not known for comedic skills, yet he held his own with the SNL cast quite well. All in all, a grrrrreat Taylor Day!!!
Gillian Lee Black: We are learning about ancient Greece in school. So we were studying Athens, and they used Totalitarianism where the 2 kings and 5 elders decided everything and there was no democracy. So we were playing out Totalitarianism, and I got to be the king! Since I got to pick something for us to do that the other classmates couldn't object about, I made them all sing happy birthday to Taylor!!!! Any of them who objected were 'killed' so 3 of my classmates all fakely committed suicide to get out of it! Lol, so they were lying on the floor asking what they had done to deserve being in hell as they listened to everyone else sing happy birthday to Taylor. I made the class sing 4 verses -- it was so awesome!!
(Note: Gillian also went to the Olive Garden tonight too! She said that if her parents hadn’t been there, she would’ve asked the waiters to sing happy birthday, but she made her parents toast Taylor, at least. :D )
WHAT A GREAT TAYLOR BIRTHDAY WE HAD!!! LET'S DO IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!!
