Here are our pics from the David Slade autograph signing we went to in Burbank, CA yesterday. It was such a pleasure meeting him!

These are David Slade's answers to our questions at the signing:

- David Slade said his favorite scene in the movie was the "Garage scene" with Jacob & Bella because of the strong emotion in it.

- He said he got behind the camera & framed every shot before it was filmed.

- He told us the "meadow scenes" were filmed first & the "leg hitch/proposal scene" was filmed last.

- He had high praise for Xavier Samuel & said he was going to be a huge star.

- He said they worked hard to fit everything in the movie but have it move pretty fast too.

- He did a lot of tests on the special effects before the cast even got there because he wanted it to look as real as possible.

- He tweets but but his fiance reads all his @ replies on twitter.
