Ousted Star Rachelle Lefevre Skips “Twilight New Moon” Premiere
One face missing from Monday night’s New Moon premiere?
Rachelle Lefevre — who was fired from the franchise last July after filming her final scene in New Moon — skipped the movie’s big Hollywood premiere, calling the evening “emotional.”
Bryce Dallas Howard replaced Rachelle as evil vampire Victoria in Eclipse, the third film in the vampire saga, after Summit Entertainment released Rachelle due to scheduling conflicts. Twilight producers were furious when Rachelle accepted a part in the idependent film Barney’s Vision, which began filming on the same day as Eclipse.
“2 fans at the premiere: w/ [my dog] Honey in hospital & being fired from Eclipse tonight was just 2 emotional 4 me & I couldn’t manage it,” the actress wrote on her Twitter page Monday. “So sorry.”
This is soo not fair!
