Think they got figures mixed up......no way Taylor would earn more he's only lead role was on New Moon, He hardly feature on Twilight.

I saw a making of Water For Elephants, on the Fox Movie Channel and they talked about how the lead actors (Rob, Reese & Christoph) all agreed to accept smaller salaries.  It was made on a relatively tight budget.  His salary was only 2.5 million.
