People magazine ~ *KStew's Breaking Dawn Birth Scene Won't Be Toned Down*

People Magazine reports:

"The good news is, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon plan to be faithful to the book when shooting Bella's childbirth scene for the movie version of Breaking Dawn.

Or wait, is that bad news?

However Twilight fans might feel about the gruesome scene with Kristen Stewart's character, the screenwriter and director see little point in toning it down for the big screen. But that doesn't necessarily mean it will be a huge gorefest.

"We're working on it. And we're working on it to be as intense as it is in the book," screenwriter Rosenberg tells E! Online.

Rosenberg has long felt that the scene shouldn't be sidelined for the movie. But the priority for her and Condon is the emotional intensity of it.

"I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show," she says. "It's on their faces. It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going [on]. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."

Rosenberg and Condon have been working on script rewrites for the two Breaking Dawn movies of late. Asked when they might finish the scripts, Rosenberg replies: "It better damn well be before the beginning of November, because that's when we start shooting."

Yeah i really want to see Jacob kick Rosalie too. And also, I want to see, well i want it to be true to the book. I want to see like Edward freaking out. Being like "Call Carlisle!" Or,"Then go!" When Jacob is thinking about how he doesn't love her anymore. And stuff like that. :)

im not bothered about the blood that much either as u dont see blood when your reading lol. intensity should be focused on the honeymoon and birth! they are both important parts of the book and you cant make one fantastic n then leave the other weak. x

I wonder how they will do the part after the childbirth, when Bella is injected with Edwards blood. She will be in LOTS of pain. It was carried out all in her head, in the book. How will that transpire onto the screen?

My favorite part of the birth scene is Edward putting his venom into Bella's heart and the description Jacob gives of Edward biting Bella tenderly and sealing the venom in with his tongue. Although it is pathetic if you think about it, I think the way Stephanie wrote it is romantic. I really want to see that on screen with that same affection/intensity.

I honestly think they are going to end the first movie right after the baby comes out and Bella dies... Then they will start the second movie with all all the venom and trying to save her and her changing...

~OR~

They will end the first movie after all the venom and what not is done and they pan in and show her opening her red eyes. Then the second movie will start with her in her new vampire world...
