Sadly, E! News has confirmed that after nearly 11 years of marriage, Jennie Garth and Peter  Facinelli have called it quits.

What went wrong?

"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love  and devotion to our children," the duo said in a joint statement.

"We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for  privacy and respect during this time."

Aside from confirming the sad separation, reps for the couple aren't  commenting on details surrounding their break-up, though rumors of trouble in  paradise have plagued the couple since last year, with the most fervent  speculation of an impending split coming last July, with reports claiming the  couple had even taken to living separately.

In the meantime, though it's unclear when exactly the couple  officially  parted ways, Garth has already unfollowed Facinelli on  Twitter.

The Twilight star and erstwhile 90210 actress tied  the  knot in 2001. It was the second trip down the aisle for Garth, who  was  previously married to Daniel Clark before divorcing in 1996.

The now estranged couple has three daughters together, Luca  Bella, 14, Lola Ray, 9, and Fiona  Eve, 5. Though Facinelli, at least, is already back to (show) business  as usual, having accompanied his daughter Luca out to last night's premiere  of The  Hunger Games
