PFach has requested Breaking Dawn Sex Scenes be PG-13

Peter Facinelli To Producers: Please Keep The Sex Scenes In ‘Breaking Dawn’ PG-13 So My Daughter Can Watch!

Do you agree with Peter that hot and heavy love-makin’ between Rob and Kristen is too racy for tween audiences?
We’ve been waiting for soooo long to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart FINALLY make sweet, sweet love in the fourth and final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn, that it didn’t even occur to us that some people (re: parents) might not be so happy at the seductive content.

However, Peter Facinelli—who plays hot vampire patriarch Carlisle Cullen—has made us see the error of our ways.

“I have a 12-year-old daughter [Luca Bella, whose mom is Jennie Garth]. She’s a fan and I’d want her not to feel left out or awkward,” Peter, 37, explained to HollywoodLife.com exclusively Jan. 16 at Lionsgate’s pre-Golden Globes party.

“Hopefully it’s a PG-13 type of situation,” he added. “I’m sure the producers and directors know what they want—and especially what they are doing—but I’m sure they don’t want to alienate fans.”

We like how Peter sees both sides here: he doesn’t want to destroy his daughter’s innocence, yet he wants the flick to remain pure for die-hard fans. His primary loyalty is to his family though, after all—family always comes first to this #1 Dad.

What do you think about the Twilight conundrum? Should the producers keep the sex scenes and potentially alienate a large portion of their audience or keep it age-appropriate? Can there be a happy medium?

It's a good point, but I still really want to see a beautiful Love scene between Edward, and Bella. It dose not have to be too racy, just romantic. That's all a care about.

Same here, don't need to see the whole "breaking the bed" scene, but a bit more loved up romantic would be nice, we don't need to see all the details! LMAO

i love peter but they cant take all of those scenes out-cause theres quite a few and the birth scene isnt really PG material either. we've all been waiting so long for breaking dawn. I along with alot of other people are going to be quite annoyed if they do not include some of those scenes or even close to them. (and by the time breaking dawn is made and released peters daughter will be older-so will alot of the fans) ..

They should stick to the book and keep the love scene just as it is in the book after all Edward and Bella have been waiting for the moment scince the moment they met so it's got to be really intense. Also the birth scene is not going to be suitible for 12 year olds. To make Breaking Dawn just as good as Twilight, New Moon and hopefully Eclipse they are going to have to stay very close to the book and if they don't alot of us Twihards are going to be very disapointed. As long as they stick to the book they should be fine. Sorry Twikids. xoxo

Idc I still want the sex scenes.. that was a MAJOR part of the book that took place PLENY of times! You know damn well these "twi moms" are gonna take there kids to see it anyway even if its rated r and that's what it should be RATED R!!!! Too much stuff goes on in BD to keep things out that are really importent!!!

I think that they should bring on the heat in Breaking Dawn. Peter is complaining about his daughter not being able to watch the movies, but i dont think his daughter should even be watching any of the movies at her age. I feel shes too young to understand. I dont think its fair that we have to suffer because, of Peters "personal" needs. We've been waiting so long to finally have Edward & Bella make love, im not going to let one person ruin it.... Peter, Not cool Man .
